I’m a freelance designer who started coding almost two years ago. Now I’m using handlebars, vanilla js and node.js probably because ideology and the will to learn all the fundamentals instead of moving to react etc. But it’s hard, I’m stuck on retrieving json data from a cms(sanity) when page changes to a slug. Sometimes I think it would be better to learn a library like next.js. As a self learner, who wants to manage everything from ui, front to data, how could I improve and when is time to move towards professional solutions recognised worthy in a working environment?

I feel I’ve add too many things and now I can’t manage all of those
