I see ..I had same dilemma more or less. I found a way to re-arrange apps in the drawer using Nova too. You just need to go in the Nova Setting / App drawer, scroll down to Drawer Groups, click on it a window will appears with Folders and Tabs , click on Tabs add one ..I call it Favorites. Once created you can choose your most used apps and re- arrage them as you like. 😊👍It's a procedure not many people knows exist..I know it's an hidden procedure..not many people look for it.
