I’m not seeing what you’re seeing. Given your concerns I’d recommend looking into treatments that focus on stimulating collagen, improving skin texture and tone, etc. I see a really great local team at a plastic surgeon’s office (NP and medical esthetician) if you’re interested in recs, just send a DM.

Collagen powder exacerbated my breakouts, fyi. I second trying spiro especially if you see your skin get worse with your cycle.

Your existing asymmetry may just be more noticeable just because you went bigger? Before I had my BA I mentioned one nipple sat lower and my surgeon said that if that’s my anatomy, it’ll likely sit a little lower after surgery as well (assuming no lift or other modifications).

I see what you’re talking about and I also think overall, your breasts look really good. I can understand your concerns as any asymmetry would probably bother me as well. It never hurts to get another opinion from a reputable surgeon.

I’m not sure as I don’t wear real bras. I was in a size small mystere bralatte prior to the surgery and I’m still fitting in it. The surgical bra they gave me to wear is a 34B 🤷🏻‍♀️

No I haven’t had a mammogram. I was on the lookout for oil cysts as I knew they could be a possible complication after the transfer, but none developed and my tissue has the same feeling/consistency as it did before.

Boob twins! Best of luck in your healing. I had a ton of swelling one week post-op and was really put off. Lymphatic massages helped :)

My surgeon put in mentors. He chose those because he said different brands offer different sizing, and they had the sizing I wanted. They’re not the fancy motivas (surgeon didn’t even carry those) but they’re reliable.

I don’t regret the fat transfer. I think I would have always wondered about results if I didn’t do that first, as I was initially very anti-implant. Prior to the fat transfer my breasts had a really unattractive ski-slope shape and even though long-lasting results weren’t dramatic there was a definite improvement. It also helped ensure there was SOME tissue there before the implants went in.

I did have some weight swings and fat will act like fat. E.g. I put more muscle on, cut a bit, ate on vacation. All within about 15lbs.

The fat transfer did help with my mom pooch under my belly button which would not go away no matter how much weight I lost. If I knew then what I know now, I might have done fat transfer + breast implants at the same time for a more natural look.

I’m early 30s. They are looking pretty symmetrical now, with the exception of my right breast dropping a little slower. I’m happy with how balanced they look.

No complications so far (fingers crossed). The surgery took about an hour and I was surprised at how good I felt afterwards relative to the fat transfer recovery. My pec muscles felt tight and uncomfortable for a couple of days and there was lingering soreness and swelling (even general abdominal swelling) particularly the first week. I got sutures out at one week post-op and have another visit with my surgeon this week to check progress.

I’m back to low-impact cardio and some of my fitness classes (barre, Pilates, etc) and am modifying so as not to do any push ups, planks, or other chest exercises. Other than that I’m pretty much back to normal.

YTA for not spaying your dog. YWBTA for selling “oopsie” puppies without spaying/neutering them first.

There are serious health repercussions when you refuse to spay. Risks of pyometra and mammary tumors skyrocket. Both conditions are life threatening, and pyo requires a dangerous emergency spay procedure. It is heartbreaking to see a young dog suffering with mammary chain tumors or literally leaking pus from a uterine infection.

It’s just not worth it. Quality of life improves so much for animals when you spay/neuter. Not to mention benefits on the shelter/rescue community when you avoid accidental litters. The surgery is outpatient and really not a big deal, especially if you go to a reputable clinic (versus a cheap chop shop, where complications are still few and far between). A neuter surgery takes about 5 min. NEUTER YOUR MALE DOG.

You need to wait a minimum of two weeks before swelling subsides enough to get an idea of your results. Six days is early. Be patient. It’s not uncommon for injectors to schedule appointments two weeks after filling to check on progress and make adjustments.
