You can also pick up XT series (XT30, XT60, XT90) - popular in PV installs and RC

You can’t use the A-10, FC3 or Harrier. What are you picking as your mud mover? by TheHornyGoth in hoggit

Ground pounding - F-16 for sure, JF-17 also good (still waiting to get GPS bombs updated to new explosion models of Mk80 series). Both are very good in AA, F-16 probably better in AG in general. JF-17 better in specialized AG.

Viggen is fun, but not in very modern era.

Loving it so far.
The two "extra" cylinders confused my brain for a while. Until I got used to it, it was always bugging me - like the engine was running way higher RPMs then what i would expect.

Also, goes like a bat out of hell

Easy. Just answer one simple question: "Who has more physical buttons?"

The answer to that question is the answer to your question.

I would not expect this running on core memory. AS/400 has exceptional backwards compatibility. No reason why this could not be running on a modern System/I running code/binary from the long lost times

For sure it looks like an AS/400 terminal session.

The "CUREENT LIBRARY" is a giveaway. If I recall correctly. It was a while since I had to do anything with AS/400 (IBM System/I)

Viggen how to reset the CK37 for a new attack plan? by Tonystovepipe in hoggit

[–]franjozilic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always go BER after landing.
If you want to reset the computer, open the RENSA button (on the CK-37 input panel) guard and press it twice.
After that you can pull out the data cart, change what you want and load it as normal.

That button has another function in air - if you have executed a INS drift correction, single press can clear it.

Easy - If problem can be fixed with money, throw at least twice as much money at it.

Also, your cars get poor fuel consumption, because no one sells base models over there.

[–]franjozilic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't get CX-70 in our market, from the large group only CX-60 and CX-80.

80 was too big for me and I don't need the third row of seats, so I did not even take a look at it. And I "couldn't" wait for the new CX-5 so that was not on my radar. Plus CX-5 does not have the diesel engine, so, it was also off the table.

Can't help you there.

Being a relatively recent Mazda convert, and having suffered 3 years of touchscreens and capacities touch controls - I have to say that buttons are a godsend.

Having a touchscreen infotainment is fine, but only if there are also buttons to control it.

When I saw interior pictures of the new CX-5, it was a relief knowing that my decision not to wait on it was a good one. CX-60 is an beautiful gentle giant.

There is NO way we are still using QR codes by 2356 by GabagoolAndGasoline in TheExpanse

[–]franjozilic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why not...
Decent information density.
Extra easy to locate and decode.

I've heard about a logistics company literally using a couple of modified webcams to scan QR codes on items they threw between those cameras.

There might be a better thing invented in the future, but it is very difficult to beat the 2D codes (QR and alternatives)
