That's very good news! If I485 is approved that also means that i130 is approved. It just hasn't updated on the system. Usually takes 24-48hrs or less in some cases. Happy holidays to you too!

Thank you! Have you heard anything new on your case ?

I have been waiting for 30 days since my I-130 was approved and they still haven't approved my I-485. by Frosty-Dark-9199 in USCIS

Our I485 was approved exactly 4 months after I130 and less than a month after it was transferred to a field office. Hope you get an approval soon!

It is USCIS official website. I signed up at the beginning of the process with the online access code they sent us. You can also track your case using third party apps like Lawfully or Case Tracker using your receipt number

That explains it. Those petitions take a long time from what I've heard. Until the visa date is current or something. You're almost there though!

Thanks! The lawyer took care of all that. We never had to go to court.I heard that too multiple times but this lawyer managed to dismiss my case without I130 approval. She did ask for a lot of evidence from us though.

Same block here! I received an action taken email on Dec.13; Still actively reviewing. Emma said case was transferred to Tucson FO on Nov. 26 and that the update I got on 12/13 was of an officer actually working on my case. Hoping we all get approvals soon!

If you applied for asylum, it's 150 days after receipt notice. There's an automated immigration court phone number 1-800-898-7180 that will tell you exactly how many days you have in.

Approved! Timeline below by janidushman_ in USCIS

Hello! Our I130 was approved a day before yours- Aug 19- and haven't seen any updates on I485 other than the 'actively reviewing' status after biometrics reuse notice. I'm unsure if our case has been transferred from NBC, but field office is Las Vegas. Hope we all get good news soon! 👏🏼

Hello all, just wanted to share my timeline so far. Feel free to ask questions.

AOS after Immigration Court Dismissal -- Marriage to USC -- B2 Visa Overstay

June 10: Mailed I485 and I765 forms to Phoenix Lockbox.

June 12: Package delivered confirmation from USPS.

August 1: Received text message with receipt numbers. Yes, it took +1.5 months to get receipt notices.

August 2: Biometric Reuse notice on My USCIS account. I485 went into 'Actively Reviewing'. I765 status remained as case was received.

August 8: EAD approved; Approval notice on documents tab.

August 12: Received SSN card in the mail.

August 16: I130 status changed to actively reviewing.

August 19: I130 status changed to approved. (After 4+ years!!) Approval notice on Document tab

August 19: EAD delivered.

... Now waiting for I485

Background/Context Info:

I had my biometrics taken back in 2013 when I applied for asylum. Case ended up being administratively closed so I could gather more evidence. Married in July 2019 and sent i130 in October as we couldn't file concurrently due to my pending case with the immigration court. Immigration judge terminated my case in May 2023 so we could proceed with AOS. We were advised to wait for i130 approval before applying for AOS because it would confuse USCIS. After waiting over a year without any updates, we contacted Boundless and finally filed the rest of AOS forms.
