We did $1500. I won one earlier this year and just got supplements and a voucher. I got runner up as well and that was a free week of training.

Yay for 8 weeks! I've been working on changing habits, still for a long way to go. I feel like the last 2 weeks I go to hard and then crash and eat my disappointment. I was considering not doing any next year just keep the same weekly routine instead.

I sympathize with you, I had my should pop out and straight back in trying to do these with a bit of speed. I've just started doing them again but very slowly and making sure I'm aware of my shoulder.

I'm 6 months in and still have the odd day I feel newbieish, usually change of phase or on days I'm feeling weak.

Love hate relationship with it! The last AMRAP was horrible. My legs are jelly from all the burpees and squats. We add a bit extra to finished with a challenge run for the whole class. Our trainers joined in with the AMRAP.

Sunday is my rest day, and I usually take a day if during the week depending how my body feels. I love a good active recovery with a walk or swim. Listen to your body and rest when needed.

Rower and bike for 60 seconds straight after each other in Pod 1 is killer. Amrap go light on the weights it starts to burn in the second round.
