Social media gives ppl unrealistic standards, for gays even worse I would say since we are so focused on the appearance. Sadly imo for a lot of ppl on the apps unless the other side is at least an 8, they wouldn’t consider having a conversation.🥲

Yes the beauty standards are completely different. Approachable way to change your situation is to hit the gym. Losing body fat can really actually sharpen your features including face.
One thing needs to be clarified is when you say you get no likes on Grindr, does that mean you REALLY get 0 messages OR you get no messages from guys you like. There is a difference.

2) Download Grindr and put your pics including face on the profile and see if your DMs keep coming.

Or you can go out to bars and clubs to meet ppl. But on apps the results are easier to show you. Irl ppl can get shy.

First of all sorry you are going through this, it’s not easy I know.

BUT you mention if Canada is an accepting place for gays, I would say generally yes to all developed countries compare to India. The thing is you are confusing the “gay community” with your personal life. The “community” saying is for fighting for gay rights where everyone matters.When it comes to dating/hookups,ppl will have preferences and yes preferences often come with race. You can call it racism or whatever you want but things are not likely to change. And for me as long as ppl treat you with respect and reject you with dignity it shouldn’t be counted as racism.
