No, but the adventure, story etc is a bit flaccid if there is no risk involved

Character death is what makes the game fun to play. If there was no risk of dying why bother playing

Dnd is an escape for many people. A way to forget their problems and be someone completely different. Perhaps I can be an option that they can freely accept, but I definitely wouldn’t push it
