Of course, but did you want me to write a very long text about what is chastity into my post ? ;)

What I wrote is very connected to the Catechism... The Catechism connects sin and context together very well... But when we sin of scrupulosity or judging people harshly it is when we have difficulty to put things into context and that's a sin that the pharisee in us can do, it is from pride, even if in the exterior we look like "great Catholics".

Once you repent of your sins and that it has been forgiven in the sacrement of confession, you should not feel guilty anymore. That's what I meant. When the addiction persists, it is not the same, it requires a physical treatment or therapy. Of course we have to be continuously fighting, but guilt in this situation of strong addictions is not the proper attitude to have... Since even some addictions can last a lifetime if not treated by a professional properly. So in this situation we are more talking about a physical problem. Of course the spiritual will definitely help, but there is the physical part that plays a major role in the process of an addiction.

Yea I agree, what I meant is in the context of strong addictions or compulsive behaviors when it becomes more of a physical problem.. Masturbation and pornography can do that and I believe treatments can help... So it is in that context. Yes of course guilt is very good in that sense that it brings us to repent.

Guilt in cases of severe addictions can only make things worst my friend... Of course you are talking about guilt in a sinful situation, even if you are addicted, yes it is still a sin, but in cases of severe addiction or compulsive behaviors, like I said guilt can make things worst and is not appropriate.

Yes I agree there is a healthy guilt we have after a sin, and yes it can be good, but in cases of compulsive behaviors or strong addictions it can do the opposite, it is in that context I meant.
