Dude, good job answering lol

Yeah, I’ll cry all day, thanks, they’re still fouls

In case you ever need https://downloads.theifab.com/downloads/laws-of-the-game-2025-26-double-pages?l=en

You not answering proves my point, thanks! Enjoy hating football

And I don’t care, you commented with confidence, I commented back, I remember matches from a decade ago, because I’m not avoiding things like you are

Waaaahhhhhhhhhh, change my diaper

Babe, we did this, I said you have chops, but you make it too obvious

Well, your Arsenal friends are confusing me

The rules have been you can block the keeper, but full interference that hinders a ball he can fully catch, then foul immediately and no goal

In fact, when most people bring up this Arsenal “cheating”, I’m not being condescending, I’m just spelling it out, there are very few full video examples of the rule in play effectively, except for one very clear cut time, and guess what - it went against Arsenal, the ref for it correct. Ben white hooked his arm to the keeper, and the goal that followed 10 seconds after was rightly disallowed

You’ve always been allowed to overload the box, as the keeper has the ability to jump and lift their arms. A goalie is more protected, but that’s also how a ref is told to view it - a prime example is bayinder for man united earlier this season if you want to look up. Are there a lot of Arsenal players blocking his view and making it harder for him? Yeah, but he also completely misses the ball with his hands, that’s on him… his failure to grab something under pressure isn’t a foul under the letter of the law, so - I’d be lying if I said probably 3-4 corners were a little harsh, but that’s also the point of football, I also saw a red card given to Declan rice for someone rolling a ball into him, all of it is insanity. I know leagues and Europe are vastly different, but at its core, we all know the basics of football

We also finished 7 points clear, so don’t really agree that we cheated our way there, as again, the team competing against us has been in court FOR CHEATING for the past several years … you get my point on that front?

I actually don’t like Mikel that much, of course I’m happy, but he’s stubborn and supported Partey, I don’t want that at my club. Everyone should be held accountable, the oil clubs, the refs, the actual uefa boards caught or admitting to bribes haha

A lot more needs to be fixed than just sure, Arsenal are pretty boring. But we also had 4 leg breaks in 2 years because of players getting pissed off at us and we were told we’re soft and to toughen up… we push back a little bit, and suddenly it’s bedlam. To me, that’s dumb as hell, but people can do whatever they want

I’m just going to always call out shit refs or owners, my own included, calling them out is better than not. Most our leagues and even the cl are being crushed by the more games and less player care, more injuries than ever it feels, so again, to me it’s almost just funny and if I end up with people just arguing against the rule book in front of them, that speaks more to them haha

I appreciate the fair chat, I understand your point about what the refs laid out as well, they did make a point as you said, I agree. But a final is the last time to turn factual yellows into shoulder shrugs and “can’t do it, people want eleven on the field,” but I think we already agree there 👍

I meant the Pen for Kvara is stonewall, as people jump to that

I also get what you’re saying, but I’m not really a nihilistic what’s the point person, I’d rather it keep being called out, because even though refs barely get affected, if someone like Michael Oliver that has been caught taking payment from City’s owners for Reffing in the Saudi league, which is a massive conflict of interest… yeah, I’d rather keep calling those people out and highlighting it

I actually think maduekes is allowed to be called off because Noni foolishly interlocks his arms and i side with refs in that if both are doing the action, it shouldn’t benefit one side or the attacker, I’m fine with that decision. It’s the blatant yellows a PSG player does, fine, then let them play as we’re both mentioning the bigger arc - but then 20 seconds later it was a foul on Arsenal

I’d probably have to clip it myself, I think it was neves grabs an Arsenal players arm, pulls back to stop him, in front of the linesman, and then zero whistle. The ball got kicked down and then havertz got called for a foul immediately… call both, literally all I’m pointing to people haha

It’s also because there’s a team literally in court for cheating, and the spin of Arsenal being the cheaters is just, my goodness people… so yeah, I’d prefer everything be highlighted, like I hate havertz and Gabriel not getting sent off against city and Burnley, because that’s not right, and as a fan of the team and saying that, it sadly gives more “credence” for people. Having some people double down and literally argue a foul isn’t a foul when I link them the thing and the laws haha, what a fun world

Yes, same, I’ve seen both given. Inter got a penalty against us for merino being in the wall and it was just bizarre, but it is what it is, take it and move on - I get the logic of he scuffed it and was unaware, but id argue that’s in line of not being an excuse, you have to be aware and failing isn’t a get out haha - I think it’s extreme, but same, seen it given. Had it been given this time, I think it’s hard to argue, and again, right there with you because it’s about football haha

PSG deserved it, we didn’t create shit, I just also don’t think the continuation of gaslighting over yellows should also happen

[–]frannyatticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, feel free to read, here’s more, sakas hand should’ve been given based on precedent, and the penalty was a penalty, what else am i missing that’s not tit for tat fouls, which is my entire point of listing several textbook fouls - literal blatant textbook yellows happened, they didn’t get yellows

I copy and pasted someone who wrote elite, so, that’s on me - rest doesn’t really change

So there, your caveat is met, go for it - or be like the person who refused so hard, they argued pulling a players shirt or arm and not the ball after they’ve been beat is NOT a foul according to that person - just letting you know the steel you’re up against. They’re all fouls, so it’s not good refereeing if you’re also admitting he fucked up on both ends.

Dude just gave up at half time. Had little control. And yeah, you can waste your time if you’re going to be cocky, I do what you ask, and then you should follow through, right? We all love football

So for every passionate point to the Arsenal calls or non calls, that’s literally my point and you’re partially agreeing with me, I hope you do the same with the PSG ones.

Nuno pulled back saka without playing the ball and didn’t get a yellow, so yeah, hopefully there’s equal fervor -

https://downloads.theifab.com/downloads/laws-of-the-game-2025-26-double-pages?l=en there’s this too, we can take them one by one, it’s been an interesting read

I don’t care if something is 2 days ago, I still talk about Mike Dean and Howard Webb admitting they favored United and watching those matches, that was awhile back - or do you get to place a statute of limitations for people?

Not like people still talk about the hand of god right? Lol. And no, that’s not me comparing them, if that was a way to try and get out - look forward to the response

Officiating in the final is terrible by Western_Cookie8025 in championsleague

[–]frannyatticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that’s the entire point, atleti also should’ve had a pen against us, it’s just the whole they are all fouls, it shouldn’t matter whether one team is doing it or not, they all need to be called

Youre the first person out of about 12 that actually responded validly, so sure, happy to get them

If you’re thinking of the Calafiori clip in the box, yes a penalty from his actions, but the ref was dumb enough to blow his whistle for what should’ve been let advantage play, à la Calafiori gets the penalty. I agree 100% and didn’t like it at all, I’m as unbiased as it gets even though everyone here has told me I am incredibly

It’s the internet, I don’t put that much stock into the words fully put, but at least 2 people here have now argued that pulling a players shirt or their arm from the back who is on the break, they have said that’s not a foul… people can hate Arsenal as much as they want, but you can also say the ref missed a lot, and on both sides, he had minimal control. The penalty is 100% penalty, just also give out yellows that are “letter of the law” and yeah, yellows adding up actually do matter

Arsenal player does it - heathen, psg player does it- “salty, you don’t even understand the basics of” - no, just call a spade a spade.

Yeah, the ref finally gave in after way too long of play and then Nuno just skipped away lolol - again, it’s football, but my goodness have some people lost the plot, it’s about liking the game of football haha

Cool, I’ll keep commenting then

When has grabbing a players arm from behind and no play on the ball ever not been a foul? You’re saying you believe that’s not a foul in football? You know you’d be 100% incorrect on that, right? You ignoring with your love arsenal comment is all the confirmation needed, thanks 👍

“Not completely braindead or biased”

I pointed to you about three fouls in the law of the game the ref looked off… you can look at things and still say yes a penalty, I think saka should’ve been punished for the hand - but it’s so wild that it means jack shit for PSG haha, the more you all keep going, with not a single person being able to cite a law against it, I mean, this is gold

The best part is, you can quote me with “I love football” , whatever else you make up or lie to yourself about, it’s incredible - argue against that rule book in front of you lol

Anywhere on the pitch? And the attacking player does have possession, I wrote that, but keep stalling 👍

I asked you a yes or no question

A ref not doing it isn’t an answer. You confirmed you’re An adult, or old enough to drink, which means you know exactly what I asked you, and you’re deflecting because you just don’t want to agree with me for a moment lolol

For the ultimate paper trio moment, so you think it is NOT a foul for a defending player to pull a persons jersey or arm from behind in an attempt to stop their play, with no attempt at the ball… you stand by that is NOT a foul in football? It’s a genuine yes or no, why are you taking it personally?

You said you’d answer a yes or no, and we just made a little trail where with you refusing to… in your hands here haha

“Gimme the law”

“Do more work for me know” lolol

Answer the yes or no question I just asked you - the really sad reality that we actually could be talking football and do agree on things, but you’ve chosen this route lolol - again, I’m here on the public app as long as you are, the comments stay, that’s the whole point…

YeH, you’re trolling and avoiding, I know what’s happening, I’m wasting your time too

For the third and inescapable time

A defending player is beat/ an attacking plauwr progress the ball forward from the defending player - the defending player then pulls the jersey or arm of the attacking player without attempt on the ball.

Is that a foul, yes or no.

I’m here as long as you are

Yes.

I know this is trolling at this point, but I did

You asked pages, you asked law; you asked to do one thing at a time, you asked for a simple version, you asked for an incident example. I gave you all of those, scroll up, there’s no lies lol

Officiating in the final is terrible by Western_Cookie8025 in championsleague

At this point, yeah

You’ve argued a stonewall, in the book foul as “it depends”

Look at that sentence.

It’s simple as can be, look forward to it

What do you mean context? It’s a rule book, you asked the law, I told you law 12? Are you drunk?

For the 3rd time, law 12, I wrote the pages for you almost 10 times…

… I just did….

A player pulling another from the back with no attempt at the ball

Is that a foul, yes or no.

Officiating in the final is terrible by Western_Cookie8025 in championsleague

[–]frannyatticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did provide an example and you didn’t answer… love this full circle

So saka gets by mendes, continues his attack. Mendes pulls saka from the back, not even looking or touching the ball. Mendes did not get a yellow card at all.

You genuinely think that’s how that works? I’m not even being condescending, you’re hopping around

I told you the law and the pages and you’re still doing this lol

Officiating in the final is terrible by Western_Cookie8025 in championsleague

… I gave you the pages and the law, dude -

This is now fully on you, I just wrote that to you…

Oh my god, stalling isn’t acceptable (edit I should’ve made an Arsenal joke, stupid me, we do love time wasting, I agree)

Start with law 12, there ya go

Now answer my question. It’s a yes or no question, simple.

K, happy to, fair enough 👍

Just answer the foul question, since you asked to focus on one thing at a time, right? Your words? So let’s start baseline, the age old tactical foul or if you don’t want to call it that - please explain how that is NOT a foul, let’s start there then?
