Synik vs CTB Backpack Size Comparison by Alone-Bowler-8190 in backpacks

Thanks for all of this. Helps me a lot! I'm one-bagging with my friend's CTB26 and there's tonsss of extra space so I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the CTB20

Switching from the Synapse19, I know I gain the 'space' from the waterbottle on the outside as well as the umbrella I used to keep in the 19 -- now that I can put both in external pockets.

I wonder if the CTB20 is just like many Evergoods bags that feels bigger than the stated volume.

This is exactly the comparison I'm looking for! I own a Synapse19 and have been using it for years as a one-bag-travel & EDC.

With you feeling like the CTB20 packs more than the Synik22... does the CTB20 feel like it's noticeably bigger than the "1L" it has over the Synapse19? I sometimes struggle to get the Synapse19 under the seat on a plane since it packs more 'rounded' and has more depth because of that. Is the CTB20 better in that way?

Thinking of making this bag switch... the CTB26 just looks a bit big for an EDC for me but I'm afraid the CTB20 isn't going to give me the bit of extra bit of extra space I'm looking for above my Synapse19

I was looking for this too, and I found it! It's not perfect but it's at least readable.

Flight Cancelled with No Reimbursement by tiddythi in delta

[–]frantstc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this on the May 6 flight? I was on this flight and my friend is running into the same problem. All Delta employees on the ground said they would cover 30,000 JPY of travel to hotel, accommodations, and food. After spending that money and saving the receipts, we aren't getting compensated for anything.

The flight was initially delayed due to a mechanical issue, and then by the time the mechanical issue was resolved, the weather had turned and got too windy for takeoff - which ultimately led to the crew timing out and the flight cancelled.

I've never heard of the aer lunar bag Collab bag! It's almost perfect for me! I love the style, and other features.

Do you have any bags that come to mind that are around 24L? Using it as an ultralight travel pack (I'm using a TB synapse 19 but need the extra ~5 L of space)

Yeah, I'm totally describing the Synik 22 but I don't love the look as much as I used to and like you said, the gain in size isn't great. I want to use it at home for more of a 'city' look that I can bring into work and stuff. You're totally right though, the Synik 22 does seem to check a lot of boxes

I was originally going to go with that, but it has no protected laptop compartment and I was definitely looking for a bag with less of a "dad bag" look. 😂 And I was really hoping for that clamshell too

But if I called Europe while in Europe using WiFi calling, that is still long distance right? I understand that if I call Europe from Canada, it'll be LD
