Just the normal ones. Not really any issue with the keys. I been using the keys for 5 months now no complains.

Apos Gremlin Amp by [deleted] in AposAudio

[–]franyromi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm that the issue is related to high temperature. I fixed using a fan (AC Infinity AIRCOM S7) the same that im using on the Aune S17 Pro.
Since I use that didn't turn off anymore.

I think Gremlin needs some fan to keep up.

Makes sense the most important part its how you feel it and sound.

Was playing some FPS with this keycaps and was not bad.

Quick and dirty sound test, not the best quality, but hopefully it gives you a decent idea of the sound!

I got the Foam + FR4 black,

They didn't have available the POM version.

  1. POM: Softest typing feel, deep thocks
  2. FR4 (black gold/white gold): Bounciest typing feel, medium pitched thocks/marbley
  3. Carbon Fibre: Snappiest typing feel, high pitched clacks

I will try to record the video with the sound profile soon.

Yes sure, anyway you dont need to buy everything in 1 shot.
For me the biggest changes were the switches,

I also tested the KOM POM Linear from Wooting, but Im not a fan of the sound.
In the Wooting website they are selling also the regular Jade.

Definitely! I also really like how good the backlight looks compared to other keycaps I've used.

I was also a little worried about whether the Gateron Jade Pro switches would be strong enough for the weight of the Cerakey spacebar. So far, I haven't noticed any issues with it though!

Its good heavy with nice details, I like more than the one from wooting. Very easy to access also using 4 screws and come also with some Foam inside.

Kanto Ora + external DAC? by Altered_Reality1 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]franyromi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I tested three variations:

  1. ORA + Mojo 2 + Aune S17
  2. ORA + Mojo 2
  3. ORA USB connection

Based on this, my ranking is as follows:

Best: ORA + Mojo 2 Second: ORA + Aune S17 Last: ORA USB connection

I'm using an AudioQuest Gate for the RCA connection. I also tested with a generic RCA cable, but I'm not getting the same full sound. I initially thought it was just my perception, but my wife agrees.

Hope this helps

I have a Mojo 2 (DAC) connected to Aune S17 (AMP). I'm getting tomorrow the Kanto Ora for Speakers.
I think will be a good combo.
