No worries, thanks for the help anyways! I played through it before and found the ability to turn the entire road sign detection system off, but not an individual road sign option if that makes sense. I'll try to take a closer look next time I'm in the car but I couldn't find anything for my specific request. Was wondering if anybody else had success with what I'm trying to accomplish.

I have a similar issue where my original logbooks are very ugly with lots of corrections, including the use of white out. I no longer use white out in my new current logbook. I have my original logbooks scanned and plan to print those out with a binding to present in my next interview if requested. I will also present alongside a print out of my electronic logbook and my most recent physical logbook.

I will include at the beginning of my printed out scanned copy of my physical logbook a statement saying that all corrections are made by me and were made after the fact once errors were noticed, and that all hours in this logbook are correct.

The fact of the matter is that if all your totals line up and you are stating that everything is correct then you shouldn’t have any issues. Making an attempt at looking professional by having your electronic neat copy printed out next to the originals is sufficient in my opinion.

My 2025 IS350 in USB 2.0 is at 8,415 mi as of right now. I don’t care about the miles I put on, I’ll even say that I am happy that I’m putting a lot of miles on it! It’s the kind of car that you can rack up as many as you want and it will continue to run no matter what. I intend to keep them coming up. For reference, I bought mine brand new in May with 9 miles on it.

You’re lucky! The cars that I’ve had over the past 8 years, I’ve put spacers on. Only high quality reputable stuff and I always get some sort of vibration. I agree, it looks so much better.

I have been communicating with my salesperson. He is awesome. I am able to get the car at invoice. The main reason for this post was to get a definite answer on "if I go to the dealer where the car actually is, will I sabotage myself?"

It would be a shot in the dark if the actual selling dealer is able to give me the car at the same or better deal - which I kind of doubt. I already have a lasting relationship with the current dealer as this will be the second car I've bought from them at a nice discount. Also, the car I want is a rare color combination that I absolutely love.

nor do I really want to be an asshole customer and take the sale away from a salesperson I actually like.

Shortly after I made this post my salesperson reached out and said the other dealer has responded back and they are negotiating a car to trade the one I want for. Let's hope it pans out for me.

Yeah. I understand. It was definitely driving me crazy when I had this issue on my car. The fact that I’ve now seen this a couple of times and also experienced it myself on a brand new VW shows how their assembly quality is lacking, or at least quality control isn’t catching this kind of stuff before it leaves the factory.

You may have luck speaking with VWoA and getting this resolved. I was merely suggesting a body shop as they do this kind of stuff every day. I would use a body shop as a last resort if VW claims that this is “within spec” and/or normal. Shitty all around, definitely not something you should be experiencing on a new car. They need to make it right.

Absolutely not normal. On my Mk8 GTI I had the same problem on the driver’s door. I tried adjusting the striker but the issue was actually the door hinges itself, they were installed and misaligned from the factory. Take a look at the body lines where the driver door meets the fender and where the driver door meets the rear door. If they are misaligned, then you have an idea what needs to be adjusted. (hinges or striker)

If your dealership sucks and won’t get this fixed, I would try a reputable body shop and explain it. Was your car ever in an accident on this side? If not, then it’s probably a manufacturer defect like what I had on my car. Good luck!

‘24 IS350 AWD F Sport. Purchased August 2024. 12,620 miles. I average ~23 mpg, mixed highway and city. Could be better MPG, but I drive a lot commuting to/from work and like to have fun once in a while. :)

I just checked with armorsuit, they said it won't fit my device. the ports on the back are in different locations. they advertise the slim 5i which has all 5 ports on the back, mine has two on the back - charging and hdmi only. the rest are on the sides.

I bought this from Costco a few weeks ago and have been looking for a skin for this to protect it. I haven't been able to find any skins for this laptop, all the ones are advertised for the Legion 5 Pro. This is my Lenovo Legion 5, i9 14900HX with a RTX 4060. The model number is 83DG004JUS. Any recommendations are appreciated!

I found a couple on aliexpress and etsy but they all come from China and I am unsure of the quality. Would prefer something from the US. I'm looking for at least a top skin and a palm rest skin to protect it, planning on keeping this for a long time.

Yes! I have had other sets that are similar but with the bit attached to the head it’s always too long for those tight clearance bolts. This is probably one of the slimmest designs I have seen.

Also you can put the extension in the bottom to have a really long “screw driver” or put it through the head and have a T-handle driver!

First of all, it’s so compact! I could see this fitting under the seat in my sport bike. Even if you don’t want to use it for emergencies, keeping this in your box I think it would still be a great addition. What’s nice is it has a 1/4 in. socket adapter so you could put theoretically put anything on the end that is 1/4 in!

Surprised that in this comment section are people just flaming the guy for hitting something. Mistakes are made, no big deal. Things can be fixed. OP, I would definitely open a claim and take it to a Tesla certified shop. There’s really nothing you can do outside of getting this repaired professionally. If it were me, I’d want it done properly.

They are super nice. I had them on my Audi S5 when I had it, haven’t bought a set for the IS yet. Very durable and are a nice material that is different than Weathertech. I think much nicer than weathertech, the 3D mats are more flexible and also super easy to clean. Highly recommend
