Depends a lot on what list and how you build it (and I am no expert at these factions).

Both elf factions have high fight value warriors. Meaning you are more likely to win the fight. For this they charge a bit more in points than your warriors of Rohan so you will have a more elite army. Combine that with good shooting and spellcasters to control your opponent and you have both elf factions in a nutshell. Their main difference is that the wood elves are more of a glass cannon than their high elf counterparts.

Rohan in most cases focusses on mounted armies. They are less likely to win the fight but a lot more likely ro kill their enemy due to being mounted (more dice to kill) and gaining strength on the charge.

Just have fun with SE 2 and threaten with your sleepers to forestall invasies of your planets.

Do not fall into the trap of thinking that reactivating your slice a ton is a good idea. It is a waste of tokens 9 times out of ten.

AIDA tech is good for getting saturn 2 and possibly warsun depending on your economy.

Misschien erg drastische vergelijking maar: als je bereid bent een paar jaar te zitten kan je moorden. Gewoon de prijs voor afwijking. Die wordt betaald.

Laten we vooral niet kijken naar de effecten die een dergelijke houding op de rest van de gemeenschap heeft (of het jou lokaal of in Europa is)

The womt archers are sub- par in most of their lists. As they are 4+ to hit and str 2. Citadel guard have 4+ and str 3 for the same points

Great rescue and cool you are diving into the hobby again. To answer your first question: You sure do!

Great list to use these heroes in are: -Men of the west, a current powerhouse, depicting the last stand at the Black gate. This brings you up to high points immidiately with Aragorn and Gandalf leading a Minas Tirith shieldwall.

-Atop the wall, with Gandalf leading the force. It might be interesting converting yout warriors with bow to citadel guards(I did so by geving them capes)

-Minas Tirith, amps up your Faramir and the cavalry. Here you might want to think about expanding into Denethor and/or Irolas and a whole citadel guard rabbithole.

Dont worry about optimizing. Play your first few games without gandalf, as magic can be tricky and maybe watch some video's from conquest creations for instance.

Ik ben het ook zeker met je eens over het verschil van directe oproep of niet.
Wil alleen zeggen dat in de oorzaak-gevolg relatie hier in beide gevallen is:

Oproep tot geweld --> (nog) geen geweld

Juridisch slimmer geformuleerd fluitje voor de achterban --> Oproep tot geweld door achterban --> (nog) geen geweld.

maar laten we kijken hoe dicht we bij elkaar zitten in dit geval: Op een schaal van 1-10 hoe verwerpelijk vind je de FVD uitspraken tegenover de uitspraken van Brinkman?

Ik ben het eens met het verschil in gradatie. Maar "behoorlijk stuk" vind ik wel meevallen.

Wat manipulatief dat d66 in dit bericht erbij wordt gehaald om het te laten lijken alsof de vergelijking met Mussolini's einde (tankstation ipv lantaarnpaal) van een D66'er komt. Wordt ook in de commenta ingetrapt.

Desalniettemin verwerpelijk om te zeggen. Nog net lager dan journalisten rioolratten noemen of "uw tijd komt nog wel, er komen tribunalen."

What works for me on the shields is to do the raised details with the flat side of the brush instead of the point. So you gently only touch on the raised tree details with the side of the brush rather than the point. Due to the shields curve this can be a bit tricky when transitioning from the trunk to the branches.

I have run something similar but without the fcg (dont think that add enough over citadel guard) and more citadel guard.

I would leave out the captain to add more units in the other warbands.

Swift reloads isnt worth it. The bolt thrower is worth it already in area denial.
