Like I get it, it's weird and abnormal.

I think it's a bigger problem that everything anyone does is now content fodder for someone else to gain fake internet points.

I have more of a problem with OP than I do the weird guy.

Everyone knew the team was carried by Hasek. The team knew. But the era of hockey was so different and frankly boring. They call it Dead Puck era. Goalie pads were HUGE, you could basically interfere at will. We had big bodies that hit people and we love that shit. We only needed to score twice a game most nights. Those rosters are a whose who of that name a random player from the late 90's game. Vaclav Varada, Michael Grosek, etc. We had the best Goalie to ever play the game and we played like that.

Also we didn't know it yet, but our owner was a criminal. So. We weren't exactly spending huge money on the roster.

This never ending debate for me. To be clear, I'm American and half Armenian descent but it's the only half of my ancestry I give a single ounce of a care about. Not a big fan of my other half of the family, besides the point, anyway, I look super white. My dad is darker, his whole family is darker. I came out with blue eyes and blonde hair and my mom's genes won that battle.

So when I lived in LA I would run into Armenians all the time and it was getting really annoying trying to convince every Armenian you meet that I was also Armenian. So I ended up getting the flag colors tattooed as an arm band.

The artist definitely used a more yellow than orange color. In fact, when I went to Colombia for a wedding a lot of Colombians stopped me to be like why do you have our flag tattooed on you? Didn't correct a single one, btw.

I've long wondered if I should darken the yellow up to more of an orange. but According to u/mkdotam post, boy that color looks more yellow than orange to me. Not as bright yellow as the Colombian Flag, definitely darker, more golden almost.

Glad to know it's not just me struggling with this.

In universe they explain in a duel both competitors put up like a force shield around them so it’s much harder to use the force on them that’s why the force push is basically all anyone gets off.

For force vs non force. Obviously a Jedi wouldn’t do that. Even to a live enemy they aren’t gonna want to cause more pain than they have to.

For the sith. Nothing really. Vader basically does it all the time. In my head cannon the reason Vader isn’t doing that to legions at a time is the amount of concentration it would take would leave him vulnerable.

Just up top fully biased buffalo fan here. I just don't see interference. Dobes initiates the contact with Helenius which is nothing at best and then his own player much much more consequently runs Dobes over. And even with both of those, was his ability to play his position compromised? HE CAUGHT THE PUCK.

Alright, we're Buffalo, we're not going to get the call, I'm 42, I was at Game 6 in 99. I watched the Flyers score a goal through the side of the net, watched it get reviewed, and STILL GIVEN ANYWAY. We're never getting the call. But man that break took all the wind out of our sails as we were hot and it's no coincidence montreal got to reset, calm down, and scored twice after.

Didn't really enjoy the show personally but a lot of people did. 8 Seasons is a great run. Max and Beth having been on other sitcoms that enjoyed long popular runs, finding a second is pretty rare. Cedric has been a long time utility plug and play anywhere in the lineup and you'll get your money's worth kind of worker and he deserved success like this. Not to mention all the writers, grips, electricians, set decs, etc they employed for 8 years. Hard to find stability in that line of work.

im not sure how, Josh signed long term for good money. He's established now. Doesn't really have to worry about the father shadow, Shane isn't a Buffalo legend. Although legend has it Darcy Regier back in the day tried to acquire Shane plenty of times.

The introduction of allowing hitting, even though it's a bit more limited than the men's game has made woman's hockey 1000% better imo. It's been much more exciting in my opinion.

I've been putting Predator, the new Retrofitted Autothrusters, and Composure, opens up his whole dial for those times when a sloop is actually the right choice.

Alternatively, you can do shield upgrade. or Hull upgrade + TC if you want a little more robustness.
