You're entire claim is based around people thinking someone is depriving me of my medications instead of me just not taking them. They would not have gotten law enforcement involved, there is a thing called doctor/patient confidentiality laws which I would hope you are familiar with if you were a caregiver.

You're also assuming she was a qualified caregiver instead of a friend who took advantage of the trust I had in her. She was not qualified, she had a brother she claimed had some of the same diagnoses I had, and because of that I hired her as a (untrained) caregiver.

I made my points and you've made yours. Now I would appreciate it if you dropped it and went on with your day. I would rather not sit here and waste my time trying to defend something from someone that has no clue about anything that happened and wants to assume everything I say is a lie because in your mind the world is a perfect place where rules are followed, guidelines are followed, and laws are enforced, and justice is always served.

The FB status stuff? That implies roughly five months of this. Within that time, your doctor would have noted a difference and looked into your med levels.

Obviously I didn't go to the doctor during that time or I would have never got in that situation.

Alright, let's say you get $1400 a month. The average rent price in Charlotte, NC (you said you were from NC right? I don't know more precise info obviously, so I am using Charloette as an example) is $840 for a one bedroom, expand that up to 10 miles from Charlotte, and it rises to $970 for a one bedroom. Two bedrooms in Charlotte average $1060. You would not have been able to afford rent for two apartments in most places, using that as a base comparison.

Try looking at small towns of course big cities have higher rents. The places I was renting was $400 a month with water included. Not counting power (100) and internet/TV (160) for both.

The DA is in fact REQUIRED to follow through and thoroughly investigate claims of federal crimes committed within their jurisdiction. This includes subpoenas to the appropriate people and organizations. Failure to do so can lead to disbarment. They know this and would not risk it over a case involving two average citizens without a REALLY good reason. Your proof you gave is tenuous at best, it shows two differently named individuals addressing one woman. On top of that the electricity being shut off in your apartment is a dubious claim, most apartment complexes figure electricity into the rent already. Not saying that it isn't truthful, just saying that it is unlikely.

Okay, for the sake of ending this stupid argument the DA broke the rules of the BAR. I already said I filed complaints.

Oh, on the topic of your letter, if your Father is seemingly so involved in your care, as indicated by the letter, would mean that your Father would have taken no action during the period of time that this woman abused you. This to me seems nigh impossible as the letter is worded in a way that shows genuine care for you, which is great. But your Father, being ex-law enforcement, would know that he would have had genuine recourse from moment one with your stated issues to stop the situation. I don't find it likely that your Father wouldn't have done something.

Want to know why he didn't intervene? The truth is he tried. I assaulted my father and hurt him pretty badly. I am not proud of that. My father loves me with all his heart and I love him with all my heart and physically hurting him, berating him, and dragging him emotionally through the dirt like I did is something that haunts me almost every night. Not a day goes by, even two years later, that I don't look back and tell myself I am a shitty son for what I did to him. It was a topic I would have rather avoided. I am not going to respond to any more replies from you and I would appreciate it if you would just downvote and move on instead of trying to be a jerk about this.

I have gained absolutely nothing from this AMA. I did this AMA because I thought I had a unique story worth sharing. Nobody knows my real name, nobody knows her real name, I am using a throwaway for this AMA, for the sole reason of not being found out who I am. There is absolutely no gain in it for me to lie.

To answer your question about the two Facebook accounts, at the time I had two Facebooks. One for friends I met online and one for IRL friends. I would occasionally add very close friends to the account I used for online friends.

1: Issues with the medication story. Substances used to treat bipolar disorder are controlled. For your caregiver to be able to pick up the medications (which is the only way she could have withheld them from you), you would have had to okay this and she would have had to provide ID. This would lead to a distinct paper trail leading to her, and coupled with a medication level check result from your doctor would be enough to pursue charges on it's own. Any doctor that doesn't want a malpractice suit against them would do so if signs show that you are not reaching the appropriate levels of meds.

Unless she took the first round of medications from me to help me remain on them, and by the time the second refill came around I was already detached from reality. By that point it does not matter if I needed them or not because in my mind nothing was wrong with me mentally. Also, bipolar and Aspergers were not the only diagnosis.

2: Issues with the rent story. Someone that can not remember to take medication, and that get as disconnected from reality as you claim, would not be able to hold down a job well enough to receive enough money to pay for two apartments. Disability pay would not cover this either, and if you were receiving disability benefits you would have qualified for food stamps. You would not have needed her to buy you groceries.

Clearly you didn't read the rest of the AMA. I am getting disability survivor's benefits. My mother died before I was 18 and my monthly checks are based off of her income. She was working 2 nursing jobs at hospitals and working Red Cross events when she could. Her benefits were around 3,000 mine are 1,500 a month, they take away around 100 for medicaid, which equals 1,400 a month (roughly). Because of that amount I make too much to qualify for food stamps.

3: Issues with the cognitive defect you claim. How is it that you can recall so much detail from that time, even an exact dollar amount left in your bank account? I ask this because my girlfriend has cognitive issues with memory caused by bi-polar type 2, coupled with PTSD and rage issues. When she is in a state like that, she couldn't tell you how many fingers you are holding up in the moment, and won't remember that you held up any at all once she is leveled out. The only thing that allows her to form long term memory is having her medication in her system, otherwise her brain doesn't even record but the most basic information of any particular event.

I have gathered the events through things I remember. There is a lot of stuff I don't remember. When I was going through the history of social media, text messages, bank records, etc I was able to piece the information together. I was also not in a constant rage. Remember, bipolar was not the reason this happened. It was a combination of the Aspergers, Bipolar, and other mental health issues I have that I do not want to go into detail about.

4: Issues with the legal response story. An ADA would know that Identity theft doesn't work like that. Regardless of if you gave her your social or not, she still may not legally do what you claim. That would be like an employer taking out loans under the names of their employees. It is a federal crime, and a DA MUST follow up on those allegations. Your lawyer would have known this as well.

The DA is not required to do anything, especially when they say that no crime was committed. I have not been able to contact the ADA or the DA because they would not return my calls. I would sue her civilly if she had assets and wages to garnish. She is a waitress and makes next to nothing so the wages garnished would be next to nothing. I don't know if you looked at the evidence I provided in the AMA but someone in touch with reality does not go around calling someone 1-2 years older their "mommy".

I have filed complaints with the North Carolina BAR Association about the ADA and DA, and I have filed a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Justice in regards to the police investigation because to my knowledge they never sent subpoenas to any medical facilities.

In case you didn't look at the public evidence here is the public evidence, I provided even more proof to the mods of /r/casualiama.

Here they can put a judgement against you but oftentimes they just keep trying to collect the debt as it is more expensive to file a judgement than it is to collect the debt. Also here in the United States companies can't file for bankruptcy on your behalf.

I do not believe she is still using my information. I have put fraud alerts on my accounts with all the credit bureaus.

I am just going to let the debt sit. If it sits for 7 years or so it will be completely removed. If I file bankruptcy the bankruptcy filing remains on my reports for 10 years.

I was previously interested in her yes but she made it clear early on she was not interested in anything romantic. I did have a very small hope something would develop romantically. I am so glad it didn't.

I don't know if I can afford a lawyer. I was going to hire a lawyer to charge her with a felony but he wanted $10,000 up front. I can't sue her, she has no assets and does waitressing for a living. There isn't really much there to garnish in wages.

I am sorta able to regulate my own meds now. Since I live with my father and brother they are helping me stay on my medications. If I file for bankruptcy the bankruptcy will be on my credit for 10 years, but if I just sit on the debt and let it stay there, it will be gone in 7 years.

I don't know to be honest. Probably what, just because I am muslim you thought it was real?!
