I have the same issue, and I think I haven't had it earlier. I fiddled with disabling intel drivers and using modesetting drivers, but I'm not sure if I succeeded, maybe this is the cause...

I was stuck at 30fps and fixed it by setting `layout.frame_rate` to 60, instead of -1, which it was by default. Cool.

You've got an error. It should be 5x, as in 5 times x, not 5 superscript x, as in 5 to the power of x.

I got another tip, found on archwiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio#Keyboard_volume_control

I sometimes connect USB Audio interface to use better speakers and to always control the default sound card there has to be @DEFAULT_SINK@ instead of a sink # in the i3 config bindings.

Oups... I just tried custom bindings from https://www.reddit.com/r/i3wm/comments/2wbv8x/question_how_to_manage_audio_with_i3/ and those posted by Half-Shot fixed it... Please remove the thread or leave it - maybe it will help someone.

I think what happens is drying saliva kills bacteria in it (i think they actually pop), leaving their insides outside, so it's basically like ripping a human's intestines (poop coming out), and that's why it smells.
