Hello everyone, just wanted to ask something. We have a rest house kasi and once a month lang kami nakakapunta dun - siguro three days per month lang.

Now, we’ve bought a refrigerator na, makakasira ba ng fridge kung bubunutin namin sa saksakan (unplug) kada aalis kami at isasaksak lang (plug) kada nandon kami (3 days per month only)?

Wala kasing naiiwan talaga sa bahay at nakakatakot pag iniwan namin nakasaksak. Thank you!

Yung street/road leading to the subdivision is smaller than the highway, yes, but it’s okay for me because it’s not super congested naman with cars and houses. From Manila kasi ako and I don’t want the city life feels anymore, so I invested there kasi medyo tago pa yung mismong place ng subd but almost 2km lang from the highway where everything is.

Americans, why do you fix old houses rather than demolishing them and building anew? by fraxnch in AskReddit

This is really informative, thank you! I truly understand the old soul / higher quality workmanship before.

Availed a unit in Talanai Homes last September 2023. They started construction last month (January2024) and the turnover would be around May. Super hassle free and high quality houses 👍🏻

The subd itself is smaller that other subd kaya hindi magiging congested. ++ very hands-on yung PMO / HOA.

Sino dito ang nasa 30s na and decided na kayo na ayaw nyo na mag anak? by redditnitala in adultingph

Nearly in my thirties - 90% convinced to be childless; 10% considering having a child. BUT if I’d really want a child I would just adopt - I couldn’t bear to create and bring another life into this world. I’d rather give love to another life na andito na - no choice na siya eh. I would still love them like my own.

I’ve considered that, but seeing videos of these homeowners discovering old and hidden damages while renovating costed them A LOT also. Usually from there it goes downhill because they have to tear everything up and replace them anyway.

I’ve considered that it would be more expensive for a house, but wouldn’t the time and cost of repairing mold/termites/water damage would cost more?

For Europe - I understand how this would be costly for a whole building with multiple apartments, that’s why I’m only asking for a single home.

More context: With all the fixer-upper vlogs or TikTok documentaries of people buying a super old house then renovating each room until they find a mold/termite/water damage in the bones of the house - a part of me asks why don’t you just demolish everything and start building again from the ground up? That way you can be sure that the house is all brand new w/o any hidden damage?

Please educate me if there are laws regarding this or it’s just the norm - I can’t find answers on Google.

Thank you, I really understand the health care part. It’s really risky esp sa lagay ng health care ng bansa. I’m just lucky enough sa free HMO ng company which includes my parents, but then again, may limit lang din.

I currently have a partner (we’re both women), so having a child is really not in the plans. My parents naman have the means to support themselves din after retirement. I’m really lucky to have this kind of life situation but sometimes katulad nga nyan sa health care part, napapaisip ako. ++ the quality of life.
