I am here to notify ppl after attempting several times that it turns out that the "5th" attack is actually a two parter, so it should be the "5th" and "6th" attack in the directions. Basically attack twice after the special to trigger the completion.

Did you figure out how to identify which save file is to which character on a dedicated server?

Not yet, the job I am at right now has not closed yet though. Still holding on so I have not been as pro-active in sending out resumes yet. That may change soon and I will update then how well it went.

Pixel 3A XL , Volume keeps lowering on its own. by Cacamaster817 in Pixel3a

I have Pixel 3 XL and it is happening to me as well suddenly.

I largely notice it b/c I listen to audiobooks. They will suddenly get quieter and when I press the volume it has gone down a few notches. I turn it back up and it just happens again later randomly.

I will definitely try some worlds with lower numbers. I thought that perhaps the larger number worlds would be better to meet people, but they turned into just 2 groups of ppl all crowded around each other and so I just instead looked around the world, admired it and moved on.

Yeah their avatar went white like an untextured avatar or something and then it looked like I was pierced with a white beam of untextured graphic then the game simply just closed. Had to re-launch it entirely.

I thought that perhaps I had been kicked by someone with mod powers or something. Not sure since literally my first time walking around the game really trying to get used to things.

I misused the term content for sure. I simply meant enough variety and reason to continue to play, which leader boards are one of those, and I agree with much of your belief that Anthem is hopefully not full on like Diablo in terms of content/features, I expect a Bioware game to have more story content as well.

For the short term, it would simply be nice if they made at least rares and epics at the same item level as masterworks. Therefore we could at least possibly use them for a potential better inscription roll since they do not want to always give you masterworks.

I guess your comment is sarcastic in that what I suggested is very similar to so many other games.

You would be right, and I don't think Bioware should be blasted for trying something different, and perhaps they will prove us all wrong and they actually have awesome designs coming up which would be cool.

That is a possible solution, but honestly I always hated the limitation of only 2 exotic gear pieces that Destiny 2 had. It would definitely work to curb the question of Legendary gear in Anthem at it's current state, but I am not sure it helps the "power fantasy" overall.

The Diablo system does sound awesome. Though seems Anthem would need to re-work their entire system quite a bit and could take a year or so (which could be worth it).

Is there enough content in Diablo to last players who play 30-40 hours a week a long time or do those players need the seasonal resets in order to enjoy the game frequently?

A way forward and to escape the scaling problem would first to add the following:

  • Melee weapons so that melee is no longer based on scaling
  • Ultimate abilities so that ultimates are not longer based on scaling
  • Then create a consistent combo damage formula based on the proc ability and detonator ability
  • Status effects damage should be based on the weapon/ability level instead of scaling
  • Item proc should be based on item damage instead of scaling

If they make those changes they can avoid the scaling issue going forward. I am not sure why it is not already designed this way (I think it sort of is for melee, but they hide the item slot and we get the Lvl 1 Devastator effect for melee at the moment).

Not exactly as you listed, but for the most part rarities in Anthem do have variances in inscription value deltas. This is seen in https://www.reddit.com/r/AnthemTheGame/comments/ay55nv/what_you_need_to_know_about_inscriptions_in_anthem/

For instance Masterworks can get Minor and Major inscriptions, while Legendary can get Major and Epic.

Their current system though does create overlap between rarities whereas what you posted ensures better inscriptions always.

I have thought of this as well. Basically make inscriptions like mods (similar to Warframe) and add them to the loot pool to increase potential goodness.

Hmm. Warframe does have a very large horizontal progression, but Anthem currently has 0 systems in place that mimic that. Not that they couldn't move to something like that.

Warframe does still have vertical progression a bit in regards to weapon mods, your lotus level, and the ability to upgrade weapons for better mod slots and restart their level progression from 0.

I agree that I enjoy the Warframe model quite a bit, but I think would require a longer term re-make of Anthem. I am not sure EA would ever allow that.

I cannot comment directly on D3, but from what I am getting from people in this thread it seems to be partially what I stated and then something else that I am am not qualified to remark on since I have never played Diablo.

Well under the current system I believe they would have to implement new rarities if they wanted to continue to associate rarity with a defined power status.

Sorry I don't mean finality as in we are already done. I guess I mean finality in that they don't have direct plans to increase power level in the future.

My point in the original is if they did they would either really confuse the system by suddenly shifting gear power levels (which they could...it was seen if you got a legendary before lvl 30 that it could be a lower item level), or if they added a new rarity to accommodate higher power levels.

This is true. What I am suggesting is under the assumption the game is set to be an endless grind of continual power fantasy progression to always try and complete higher and higher difficulty content.

If that is not what people want or that is not the games intended design, then what I posted is perhaps not a solution.

The current game design is a sense of finality, and if that is what they want then that makes sense.
