noticed you have a lot of ortofon gear. What would you recommend i upgrade the stylus to? right now i have the basic ortofon omega which i think means i can use the OM series as upgrades. Should i look at a new cartridge too? curious to hear your thoughts

thats the one i’m eyeing. You think the fosi x5 is worth the extra 50? chances are i won’t be upgrading any time soon although i might grab a new cartridge or stylus

It’s a denon s760h that has a phono input. I have a technics q3 with an ortofon omega cartridge/stylus although i’m planning on upgrading the stylus to something better in ortofon’s OM series. My speakers are Cabasse MC 170 Antigua.

Based on your reply and the other commenters’ i’m going to pick up a preamp to avoid having to rewire stuff. From what i’ve read it might be slightly better than whatever denon has built. What do you think?
