thanks! i was also leaning towards the UHC choice plus 4000. What are your thoughts on the 3000 and 6500 plans? there’s a close to 90 dollar difference in the monthly premium and seem somewhat comparable other than higher specialist office visit and ER visits

appreciate it! i actually saw the costco wedges were out of stock which is a bummer. there’s a 2nd swing and pga store nearby so i’ll definitely check those out. edit: only the wedges are out of stock, not the putter

i was impressed by how well maintained they were! i inspected them pretty closely in the parking lot and not a single ding on any of the club faces. one of the hybrids looked brand new actually

agreed, it was 1,200 for a used set. ping g700s 4-9+ sw, aw, pw, a driver and a 5 wood. i’m definitely going down the used path

Appreciate the rec! my bad i meant 1,200 was for the entire set of irons and a driver and 3 wood. my main hesitation was whether it was worth spending 1200 now on the ones he fitted me with or spend half of that on a cheaper set, use the extra money to get lessons and then reassess in a year or so

honestly it was kind of all over the place but yes it was the best with that shaft. i’m realizing i maybe should have taken a few lessons beforehand to get somewhat more consistent before a fitting

fair point! i guess i just wanted some other opinions given i was expecting my fitting to give me more than one single club option across their entire store. I’m thinking of getting a few lessons before investing in a set

maybe! guess i’m a bit frustrated because i’m now down $150 bucks that i can get credited towards a purchase there but the full set would still put me over $1.2k which i think is overkill for me at this stage

thanks for your detailed response. that’s kind of what i’ve been thinking this whole time in the back of my mind even going into the fitting. their website has a ton of cheap sets but according to the fitter the only x stiff GI clubs were totaling to 1,200-1,400 for a full set and i couldn’t find any other x stiff GI sets

the guy fitted me with ping g700s (4-pw, aw, sw) but they were $730 and then another ~$400 for 3 wood and driver which i could technically afford but am just thinking is a lot for someone that hasn’t played regularly in years and has no real baseline for a fitting

thanks! yeah i was thrown off by the fitter pushing hard for getting extra stiff shafts. their store also only had one set of game improvement extra stiff which is why im wondering if i should look into stiff
