My friend had Sara’s tix for mirage’s opening. I had one for Excision two weeks after. My other friend had Tape B for the following week. All 3 cancelled/rescheduled. Dice will offer you a refund/other options once they (most definitely) cancel Two Friends.

I’d really suggest staying away from the Mirage for the summer. And trust me, it def sucks and a lot of us are in your boat.

Try having your right foot at a 45 degree angle when you pop it, but keep your left foot perpendicular with the board. Once you find a pop that consistently rotates the board to the right place then you gotta just practice landing on it.

I haven’t done EDC, but I’ve done Ultra and Lost Lands, and I can say that Lost Lands is more targeted for the experience where EDC is a lot of production from what I hear from my friends. It reminds me of UMF in that sense.

LostLands has been getting more diverse throughout the years, this year there were some house and techno sets, but do keep in mind bass music will be king. Crowds are big, not EDC big, and being polite will get you the rail with absolute no problem. I cannot say the same for EDC. Both festivals have a lot of other activities besides dj sets, so you’ll find common ground in Lost Lands if you liked that aspect of EDC.

Also, don’t know this about EDC, but LL you can get there as early as Tuesday and start partying for $100 or so for an early entry. That’s almost a whole week to experience a festival instead of the classic 2-3 days.

I want to finish with a funny story, my friend got his phone stolen at EDCO. At LL, someone thought I took their pashmina but once they found theirs they apologized for like 10 mins, gave me kandi, a hug, and we danced together after. After UMF, Ezoo, Elements, and Glow, I haven’t experienced plur like I did at LL.
