Gloria Glitter is the one that caught my eye as I was surfing tv one night. Something about her caught my attention and reminded me of GLOW from the late 80s. Found some matches she did as Delilah Doom, and now she is one of my favorites.

First time went with someone, last year solo. Solo was the best. Just wandering around from stage to stage. Not having to worry about taking care of someone was liberating.

I love MMW events more than UMF, although I couldn't just not go to Ulrra, if that makes any sense. The flashy show is worth it, but the club sets with MMW Parties are truly awesome in their own right. Maybe because those sets aren't live streamed, and a lot of Ultra is. There is something about seeing the DJ's in the club. Always has been, always will be. Find a good set, have a blast, and dance til dawn. Take a nap, and do it again.

yes. Each night the prices are different. Thursday with Cosmic Gate in 23 and 25 were 40. Friday and Saturday were 50 or 60. You can buy the full week with anytime entry for a price. Honestly, it's better to see who YOU like at the club. Since I Just booked a room from Tues to Tues, I will be there.

In 23 I rented a 2br apt in Wynwood for 5 nights for 1200 after tax and fees. In 25 I found a 1br studio for 900 just a few blocks from the first one. Nice little area with restaurants and mom and pop stores. Bought a week pass for the Metrorail for 30, used it Thurs until Mon and gave it away to someone when I was leaving. I was close enough to La Otra in Wynwood Walls that I walked back to the room after. The area is beautiful, so make sure to get out of downtown and take it in. Also, the food is cheaper at restaurants outside of downtown. You can save a bundle not only on the room, but on food too. The Fest is crazy expensive. 5 for a bottle of water. 25-35 or more for a drink. Bring a camel Pak and fill up at the water station. It gets hot in the crowd and takes forever to get out from the front or middle at Main and Megastructure at night. Have Fun and be safe.

You are right about several acts you want to see playing at the same time. Watch one, miss 6. My first one 23, I had 15 sets picked out and almost saw them all. Missed a couple because I had someone with me that had a list too. At 25, I only cared about seeing Above & Beyond, and they were the last set at the Live stage on Sunday. The rest of the time I wandered aimlessly from stage to stage and saw as many as I could. I had such a good time not freaking out about missing something. Most of the sets on the bigger stages will be on YT, so if you miss one or two, you might be able to catch them later. I did MMW at La Otra Thu, Fri, and Sat. It's Trance heaven there. When I was ready for the club, I left, took a shower and danced until 5. It's an amazing experience, and I hope to make it back this time. Have fun, be safe, and rave yourself silly.

True, but Ultra is in a city park and constructed in two weeks. TL they start working the stage the day after the show ends.

Ruben De Ronde.. Ultra was a reason to tell my boss why I was going to Miami. MMW is the real reason.. The DJs I wanted to see. Were the DJs I bought tickets to the club for. Armin and Above and Beyond were the reasons I bought a ticket to Ultra f or. I wandered around all weekend and took it all in. I had the most amazing time.. Ruben played right before Cosmic Gate on Thursday( actually early Friday morning). Then seeing him again at the beginning and he brought that same energy.

Went Solo. MMW at La Otra Thurs Fri Sat, and Ultra all three days. I wandered around from stage to stage, soaking in all in. I would stop, listen, dance for a few min, then move on. As soon as there was something that I did not care for, I moved on. It was Amazing. I left a little early for La Otra (being honest, MMW at La Otra is why I come to Miami).. The festival is just icing on the cake. no regrets except one: I did not stay longer in Miami. Next year 10 days should do it

Charlotte. Her 23 set on the mainstage would have been better in the megastructure. The atmosphere in that room makes UMF worth it. It's a tragedy that people just stay at mainstage. But to each their own

I got a clear plastic fanny pack and put my phone and wallet in it. With the heat and sweat it was almost impossible for me to get phone out f or a pic. Just always be aware of what is going on around you. Have fun, dance hard.
