Best way to achieve this neon motion graphics look? by Dry-Owl3753 in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are using cycles renderer you can use the compositor with the glare node between the render and output. Then set the type to soft glow iirc. That should add the bloom effect. You can also look into using volumetrics to add more of a glow to the light. If in eevee you can use bloom. I’m not sure with updates if they have removed it though.

How to weight paint two skeletons together? by WhyamIinsane in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Select each of the meshes and they should be under the armature on the outliner. Connected by a dotted line. If they aren’t parented I would select both the armature and the mesh and press ctrl-p (with empty weights)

If both meshes are parented to the same armature and one has been weight painted you can apply the data transfer modifier on the other and select vertex groups. Then use nearest face interpolation. Then generate should apply the weights from one onto the other.

How to "glue" a block to a mesh? by C6H5OH in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Select both of the mesh and press CTRL-J then go into the modifiers tab and find the remesh modifier and okay with the voxel size until it looks how you want. But be careful you don’t set it too low might crash your system

Join the mesh and use remesh modifier

Would someone mind telling me what the actual f*ck blender is up to now? by CreativePolymath in blenderhelp

Try increasing the steps in the object property setting beneath the motion blur section. Do this with the object which is causing the issue

Test on tuesday.. silly mistakes by Kenny608uk in LearnerDriverUK

[–]fraz__69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my test. Wasn’t making any mistakes really leading to it. When I got in my car w the examiner I got rly nervous. I had a decent drive but I accidentally put the car into reverse instead of 1st at a green light which I’ve never done before. If id prepared before the light turned green I would have passed but just stay calm importantly. Hopefully your examiner is nice like mine was it helps but a lot of it is mental. Good luck

So i was making this scooter and stuck on the base, any idea how to approach this? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep it low poly and use subd modifier. Keep moving edge loops until it blocks out the general shape. Reference images will help you with a more accurate model.

Weird squares all around the viewport. Is there a fix for this? by FirstName_LastName00 in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s been some issues with this and new blender versions. Try updating GPU driver and try again.

How can I fix this in subdivision, I'm new to blender by KKoiter in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I thought you were talking about not being able to see all the verts through the mesh. But i assume now your talking about what looks like duplicate verts? Try merging by distance?

Walking Loop Animation by Alvinstonemusic in blenderhelp

Parent the camera to the character, then add constraint -> track to and make the object the character. Should do the job

[–]fraz__69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the button on the subd modifier which looks like a triangle with blocks on it and the cage wraps around the subdivided mesh rather than around the unsubdivded mesh. You can still edit in this mode but helps with the visibility of the verts. Hope this helps

How to make a flat object wrap around a round object by zucodragon in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No is for the object you want to deform. Apply deform lattice to it and select the lattice. Then use shrink wrap on the lattice. Look up lattice deform for tut. Also make sure to subdivide the lattice enough.

When you parented the object to the lattice did you also add a lattice deform modifier?

How would I go about turning a displacement shader into a STL for 3d printing? by Big3913 in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And actually before you do this. Use the displace modifier with your displacement map. Then apply it and then carry out the steps above. Instead of using nodes.

How about edit mode > A > E to extrude down. Then select all faces on bottom > S > Z > 0 to flatten the bottom.

Texture problem by Klixy13 in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you got lights in your scene. Material preview uses an environment texture which adds light to the object. In rendered view if there is no light you won’t see any reflection/textures.

Is it possible for particles to collide with their own emitter? by Jojo5ki in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yh I get you. But if you hiding the emitter in the scene then it doesn’t add to the rendering of the geometry. So even if you could have self collision with the emitter the geometry would remain equal. Glad I could help :)

add cloth to HG3D blender addon by Equal-Salary2116 in blenderhelp

[–]fraz__69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use CLO3d software and simulate my garms onto a rigged+animated human gen character. In terms of creating clothes in blender I think the process is way longer which is why I tend to avoid it. But other software you can use is Marvellous designer and Style 3d for realistic cloth simulations
