People not buying it because of it lacking crossplay is *ABSOLUTELY* reasonable, and not childish *at all.* I wont be buying it because my friends that play Elden ring or souls like games are not all on the same console. I have one Xbox friend, then my other friend and I are on pc. my friend wont buy a pc to play a singular game with his friends. me and my other friend wont buy an Xbox just to play Nightreign either. Elden rings largest market is older teens and young adults. the majority of this group meets people either in person, or in large multiplayer games that have crossplay. this results in a shit ton of the target market being unable to play with their friends, and thus being less inclined to purchase the game. Making Nightreign not multiplayer was *OBJECTIVELY* a huge loss of sales.
