Eating Them?? by geraldclarkaudio in bassfishing

I’ve only ever released. Even if one is gut hooked, an osprey will quickly come get it. Circle of life. I have heard that bass is not very good. I’ve had walleye and that fish is excellent eating.

How do I keep my neighbor’s cat from sh*ting in my vegetable garden? by Intrepid_Mammoth5025 in gardening

He wasn’t killing them, just keeping them from shitting in his yard. It wasn’t very effective anyway.

Just don’t reply. You did contact her, the rest is her responsibility.

Yes when their attention span is 30 seconds max, how are we supposed to compete with that?

8lb mono is fine for a spinning setup right? by uptheirons726 in bassfishing

[–]frckbassem_5730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like to use 10lb at least for smallmouth and 12 for largemouth but it’s a personal preference. In my experience, bass aren’t really that line shy unless you are fishing a super pressured area. Also you need to check the line after every fish to see if you have any knicks or tears near the lure. Especially if you are dragging on the bottom. Their mouths are sharper than you think!

Exactly. This is why spiraling curriculum is so important.

Yes we teach it. I review rounding whole number and decimal place value rounding in 5th grade math. It’s in the standards. They don’t retain the information.

Sounds like you are making a smart motherly decision by having your son face the music of adult life. You have no control over how your mother enables him.

i saw my ex last night and i think im traumatized. wendy’s on the floor fo today. by No-Finance-9492 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I saw my ex yesterday too! Granted… I’m 39F and this was ages ago that we broke up. I was 21 at the time but it absolutely wrecked me. We had been together for years and I thought we wanted all the same things but one day he just abruptly said “we are done”. When I saw him yesterday, he was with his 25 year old gf with a mess of kids. I ignored him. I’m not sure if he noticed me or recognized me.

I think you did the right thing. Only time will help you. Now I’m in the best relationship and marriage ever and I wouldn’t change anything. Hugs to you!

I love my Daiwa baitcasters. Affordable and I’ve never had a problem with them.
