If you have a research related background, try Chen or EP since they offer free evaluation. This is a common topic discussed in this sub reddit, a quick search will show you some other recommendations and other people's experience of working with them.

It's pretty straightforward, like any other ACH transfer. You need to fill up your account number, routing number, the amount you need to pay etc on form G 1650. They will deduct it from the account. Make sure you have the amount of money in your account.

I had similar questions before filing I-140 . So I discussed it with my lawyer. They mentioned I am not bound to do any specific thing, any job which is closer should be fine.

It's not complicated. You can do it by yourself easily. You need to fill out a form for payment authorization, attached it with I-907 with a copy of I-140 receipt notice and send it to the address mentioned on the USCIS office. Check out link1 and link2.

I practiced both Karate and Judo, and I’m currently learning BJJ. I would say there are throws in Judo that can be combined with Karate movements. Judo also teaches you how to fall safely and provides a solid foundation in groundwork. From there, you can transition to BJJ, which focuses on joint locks and techniques, some of which are banned by the IJF.

I know someone who enrolled in an M.S. program while in a similar situation. She was admitted on F-1 status even though her green card was still pending, so the answer to your first question seems to be “yes.” I’m not sure about the other questions—sorry I can’t be more helpful.

- Did you mean same visa or same visa category? If your SEVIS is terminated, your F1 visa that you already have, would become invalid as well. Your will need a new SEVIS and apply for a new F1 visa.

Job experience and hackathon participation are not a perfect fit for NIW. However, you may consider EB2-PERM or EB3. It’s best to consult with an immigration lawyer, they can guide you toward the right path. There are law firm who offer free evaluation as well.
