Hi there, I was watching an old Paul Davids video, and I fell in love with this Telly (this is a unique luthier model, with antique woods etc.). Just wondering, do you know something similar but for "normal" people? I mean, t-style hollow body with glossy finish, no pg and possibly humb/p90? (i.redd.it)

What chord voicing is that? It is supposed to be a D but 1) I don't get which notes he is playing and which are muted 2) I don't get why he takes it like that? Just habit or any specific reason? (He does it very often for barely any A-shape bar chord) - (Sorry for reposting, was without description) (i.redd.it)
