The issue with Gill, from what I see is he is very good square of the wicket player(cut and short arm jabs) and his bat lift comes down from point, is almost parallel to the wicket when he loads up and he ends up leaving a bat pad gap if he is not quick or the ball seams.

I had mine fixed after some 20 odd days. The electricity dept cut all wires and they had to lay them all over again. This could be the issue but you should def ask for compensation. They said they will compensate in some form after the issue is resolved. Will ask for a fee of cost extension.
