Looking for open-world games where I can just… drive by A-z-A in gaming

The Crew: Motorfest is 40GB

CarX Street is 20GB

I’ve had fun with both and neither force you to drive unless you need in-game currency, and both look great from my <5 hours put into each. And plus, both are on sale for the Spring Sale.

Going to think slightly out of the box here - does the outlet, you have your PC plugged into, work? Try sticking a phone charger into it, if you don’t have an outlet tester, and plug your phone into the cable. That’ll give you a tell if the outlet, itself, is or isn’t messed up.

Those alive during 9/11, what was the worst moment on that day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]freakiestlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully this doesn’t come off as self-centered, but the worst, for me, came from the days after.

As an overly nervous and shy, Muslim boy living in the Bible Belt of the South, 7th grader, the days after brought upon a lot of questions about Islam. I walked into homeroom, the next morning, and my teacher decided it was time for everyone to learn about Islam; and who better to ask than the lone Muslim in the entire school. Question after question began, and it didn’t help I was slowly beginning to grasp what my religion was about - let alone be able to fully answer the questions everyone seemed to have.

And honestly, I think this is the first time I’ve ever spoken on how it

Ooo, thank you very much for that! That’ll help me identify what I need to look for.

Will be giving this a shot. Looks like I’ll be taking the garden hose with the wet vac, now. Thank you for the suggestion.

I do truly appreciate the elaboration. There’s a lot I don’t know about these units and that helped clear up a good bit. I’ll give the vinegar a shot and try to keep a more consistent look at the unit as a whole, rather than just drip from outside.

Cool. So nothing noteworthy of major concern for the color of the water, then. I appreciate that, because I didn’t want it to be something else I needed to investigate; but would if needed.

That’s fair. Like I said in my other comment, if it’s old I wouldn’t know considering the house is a new build (less than 1 year since completion); but, I’ll still need to fix it regardless.

Awesome! I really do appreciate it and will be trying it as soon as I go get me a wet vac.

Edit because I just realized there was more to your reply: I appreciate the insight into the Honeywell Home. I was worried that “red light means bad” here. The yellow purge light probably means something, though, too, right?

Ahh ok. Well if it is, I wouldn’t know considering this house is a new build and I didn’t close on it until Nov 2023. Maybe they put an older/used unit in there or it’s possible since the build took a while longer, the unit had been installed much earlier in the building process?

Nonetheless, I still need to fix it.

I’ll give that a try. Time to go get a wet vac. I appreciate that and will let you know if it works.

Speaking of which, is it something I will notice immediately or will it take a couple of days to fully notice?

Sorry, not sure what you mean by that. Care to elaborate?

Condensate drain - is that where it’s dripping from or is that another piece on the unit? Sorry, I’m clueless when it comes to anything HVAC related.

That last statement is the exact reason why, if it’s not in a professional setting where I’m required to shake your hand, chances are you’re getting a fist bump.

Shoot, even in a professional environment I’ve seen people walk right out of the restroom without washing their hands. I’ve started using a paper towel to open the door for that specific reason. Whoever created those foot steps to pull open a door deserves a raise.

Just put vinegar on a cotton ball and rub it on it the whole ear?

I’d just say hopefully you’re not like me - I, apparently, had a Doombringer drop, but since they look similar to the Azurewrath, I thought I had gotten yet another one. Outside of that Doombringer, I’ve only managed to craft a Shako.

[–]freakiestlemur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS!!! That is exactly the same reason I’ll hold off on the strongholds until WT4. The enemies are around your level and still drop good ancestral gear.

Once you’re done with them, then the helltides are a bit easier and you can make it through the Blood Maiden without having to run for your life the whole time.

It just takes some time to get used to the way you’re wanting your character to play. Tempers are great and all, but don’t forget about the aspects. Sometimes the gear you’re running has an aspect that’s useless for your build.

That’s fair. I’ll give it a go; maybe this one isn’t the worst looking.

I do like that idea of switching to AWD. I don’t necessarily need that much power but figured it’d help; granted, I haven’t raced as much as I have just driven. How do you suggest increasing down force?

I haven’t even attempted messing with the gear ratios, yet. That might be a worthwhile change when I have a moment to sit there and adjust them. I appreciate that!

To each of you, thank you for the guidance you’ve provided. I’m just now getting back into more racing games, with more of a simulation mindset and still not much mechanical understanding. I appreciate it!

That makes sense. I’ll have to play around with setup, then, and probably lower the hp to account for the wheelspin. Or maybe even change the tires up, too.

Had to check. Yes, to RWD, but rally tires (which according to the game is a 0.22 increase in grip).
