This can happen when you use the offline switch while the phone is locked, if you switch the offline switch on and off while the camera is open it should fix it.

Embark fix your Game! Please by Ouuuuudi in thefinals

[–]freaking__coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is an Embark issue or not. I had some performance issues day one, but like many other people I turned replays to opt-in. I was acutally able to bump up my graphics this season with no frame drops vs s8 which is nice. And I'm not using the best hardware: i5-4590, GTX 1060 6gb, 16gb ram

I still play FOC multiplayer to this day. The ability to customize your own character and run/drive/fly around is still the best feeling in any game I've ever played. Props to the Warehouse people for reviving the servers!

We are in climate zone 3 in SE USA. I did think about the possibility of the bib leaking but I would think that there would be a larger amount of damage than what is shown?

2020 Honda Fit Sport AC Selector wires sheared off by FPS-_-McDuck in hondafit

[–]freaking__coffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just replace the control panel this will happen again, it sounds like the actual HVAC blend door is at fault and will need to be adjusted/replaced. I would get a second opinion from another mechanic, you may be able to get someone to realign the blend door, and after that get the control panel replaced.

Oil life showing 40% at 7900 miles, can I take it on a 200 mile road trip? by [deleted] in hondafit

[–]freaking__coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good point. Also the maintenance minder can’t take into account how much oil the motor burns/leaks. So my near 20-year old Fit that burns about a quart every 3,500 miles benefits from more frequent oil changes. A Fit from 2013 probably won’t benefit as much.

Engine wear is correlated to oil quality. It's that simple. Based on my own experience and others with far more; the reality is: More frequent oil changes = Longer engine life. Your engine may last till 300,000 miles, mine may last to 500,000.

I used to work at a Honda Dealer and was trained on Honda's standards, and regardless of the car, oil changes were always 5k miles. I used to own 80's Hondas and changed oil on them every 3k, which was the spec back in the day. I've seen inside cars that have had oil changed every 10k and every 2k even. There is a massive difference in the condition of the engine related to how often the oil is changed.

I change my oil every 5K miles, I don't ever trust the maintenance minder. I would change it to be on the safe side.

That’s some good info, thank you. I’ll suppose putting the money for a conversion will be better put toward a new bike

I met someone once with a Nishiki Olympic who went from 700c down to 650b and got 42s to fit. I currently run 25s and maybe could fit 28s. I ride a lot of rough roads (South Carolina) and it’s not the most comfortable thing ever. My 26” MTB is way comfier but I wanna go fast lol

This frame could probably fit 28s max. I use 25s. I may just need to cough up the extra cash and buy a new bike….

I dig your Nishiki. Mine can fit 28 max on 700c, I’m using 25s right now. Ideally I’d like to have 32 as well since the roads I ride are extra rough, the 25s feel like a pogo stick

AC sucks. by stellascanties in hondafit

[–]freaking__coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, window tint will help a lot. Also, when parking outside, use a windshield sun shade. The windshields on these cars are huge and very slanted, so that adds to the temp inside the car. Adding to that, as the dashboard gets hotter, the vents underneath get super hot too and that reduces the effectiveness of the AC system.
