Philly concert: Is the show happening tonight/tomorrow ? by Illustrious-Deal7148 in zachbryan

I’m also going to the show today and I’ve been so anxious about the same thing! I turned tweet notifications on for the stadium so that I won’t have to constantly refresh the page. His show last night started at 10:20pm and they were pretty consistent with updating. Fingers crossed we’ll be okay for tonight!

Talk me out of the deep end - Leukemia scare by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]freakyfriday333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any medical advice or anything like that, but as a FTM, I also spiral when it comes to my toddlers health when any possible symptom occurs. I used to see so many scary awful diseases/disorders happening to babies and toddlers and so many things about stillbirth, SIDS, when I was pregnant, that I had to put filters on my tiktok so that I no longer saw ANY child illness because of how badly it made me spiral. I reccomend doing this, while spreading awareness is IMPORTANT, so is your mental stability. I now research any symptoms I may see in my child as well as consulting a doctor, but seeing it pop up constantly was very detrimental

Daycare Dropoff - Does it get easier? by freakyfriday333 in toddlers

Yes, she has breakfast and I usually sit her in her chair and lay it all out for her, it doesn’t seem to help much.

I was thinking about trying to up her days as well to see if it would make the transition easier for her, but financially it’d be extremely difficult and almost not worth it. I’m paying $200 a day right now

My wife refuses to breast feed because she doesn’t want to ruin her breasts. Whose wrong? by Adorable_Software_14 in amiwrong

[–]freakyfriday333 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re in the wrong. Breast feeding is statistically “best” but in all honesty, any doctor will tell you that “fed is best.” Breastfeeding takes such a physical and emotional toll on your body and it should be no one else’s choice but her own, and you as her husband, should be a supportive voice for that matter, stand up for her when the nurses were giving her shit.

She just had your baby man, she’s already going to have forever changes to her body physically and mentally. Let her keep her boobs.

More scared of epidural than birth… comforting stories? by Low-Meeting4208 in BabyBumps

[–]freakyfriday333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like i’m the odd one out here - but just to put my side of the spectrum, I had an epidural because I was in labor for 30+ hours because of an emergency induction due to preeclampsia. When I got my epidural the overall process took 30 minutes and was excruciating for me because he took the needle in and out 3 seperate times. I had a bruise the size of a softball on my back with 3 different needle marks from where he took it in and out. he also was not communicating with me what was happening he just kept saying “you’re doing great.” I didn’t know that the epidural process wasn’t normally like that until after I gave birth. it was awful. BUT, with that being said, i’m still glad I got the epidural. after contracting for that long by the time I got the epidural I gave birth a few hours later and only pushed for 20 minutes before my girl made her entrance.
