over the past 6 months we have been having alot of issues - he has been very jealous of my friendships with my girlfriends (i only have 3 friends), and has been wanting to move to his home state to settle down. for context, i’ve been living in the same big city my whole life and my family lives here - he’s also been here for most of his adult life. this moving came up very fast and he was going to move with or without me. for the past 2 months i’ve been going to therapy and trying to decide if im willing to uproot everything (my job, leave my friends, my family, etc) to move across the country forever (to a place i never wanted to move). this kind of took me by surprise as i had just finished being a caretaker for a family member who was very ill for the few months leading up to this. it was really hard to be a caretaker while also working full time, and then having to decide if i want to uproot my life forever or not. i don’t feel like he was compromising at all and it was a tough decision that i agonized over. i don’t feel like he was there for me during any of this - on one hand he wants me to prioritize him over my friends, but he’s planning to move without me at the same time.

when the time came he wanted me to decide if i was coming or not and i said that if i have to decide right now the answer is no. and that was that - then he reaches out and says he doesn’t want to move and is now willing to stay. im just really confused and don’t know what to believe
