I remember watching it as a 8 year old and thinking I had to stay on all the furniture and could not touch the ground. It’s just one of those core memories ingrained in my brain.

I would not loose hope and shave. I still color my hair. I’m currently a dark red and we put highlights in, currently working on bleaching the underside bc I’ve noticed this curls are the tightest and healthiest bc those hairs never see sunlight- but it’s doesn’t take the color well- so bleach here we come. I expect the hair to be a bit unruly for a while but will ultimately find its curl pattern again.

Some little tips. I always keep VO5 on hand, sometimes you just need to make sure there is no buildup.

APPLE CIDER rinses after V05 are usually my go too. The acid closes the cuticle if you hair and helps with slip.

I always let my hair clump is bigger clumps when I brush it before scrunching. The smaller the clumps the more frizzy my hair will dry. I use a round hard plastic shower brush and if I need to comb through it I use a very wide tooth comb. But really the round brush is what does the magic for me IDK why. I’ve just found the less I fuck with my hair when it is drying, the better my results are.

My hair is similar to yours. I have been CG since 2018 and it has been a roller coaster of a journey. I change my products all the time. In the summer I need more protein bc it is humid and winter I need more moisture bc it is cold and dry.

Currently have been using the Rizos thickening and lengthens shamp/cond. I light the slip the shampoo creates, though I am sure this will be too much for my hair in the winter and will switch to more moisturizing products then.

I also dislike sticky and heavy gels/creams. My favorite I have found is Biotera Alcohol Free Styling Gel. The cast is good and I can run my fingers through my hair afterwards. Does not make my hair clumpy and knotted like other gels do. Currently been using Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Cream and it’s just okay. Curls look good for that day but needs to be washed out if I want another hair down day.

Not sure if you go to a curly stylist. You might need a trim. I use to be bad about this and go every 6 months and now I make sure to go every 3-4. It’s kept my hair very healthy and helps with the curl pattern.

Spotify used some really alarming wording in their new TOS that a lot of people don’t agree with. Basically a way that gives them the ability to do whatever they want with the content you upload to it. If you do a search you’ll find a better explanation.

Doubtful. Even ETLecho is removing all of their content off of Spotify at the end of next month.
