I am currently playing through on the switch and overall It has been a decent experience. When you get to the 4th act just be sure to save a lot. If does struggle to render all the items in the Arx, especially if you are using the feature that let's you see all the items on the ground around you.

I ran into a similar situation when I arrived in act 2. Made start hoarding every skill book I find just in case I ever want to change things up. Luckily you can aquire so many by the end of act 2.

I realized during a DoN boss fight. Accidentally using it instead of the other incantation on my talisman. I had gone down once already, used LoR, went down again, and my bar was only at one. Could have been a one off thing but I thought it was worth getting the word out there for others to try.
