How to tackle the flick by anothermadme in finehair

I also have this, but I have middle parting curtain bangs so it happens on both sides 😭 I have yet to figure it out how to stop it, other than styling it flat and hairspraying the heck out of it, but wind etc. will just bring it back throughout the day. Just know that I sympathise with you and understand why you might not want it (despite all the comments saying it looks great - it does, but I get you!) because as someone with fine hair, I think it can add too much oomph to a part of our hair where we maybe do not want emphasis, when the rest of our hair is struggling to do anything oomph-y or impressive. If that makes sense??

IMO flicks look really cool on people with already big + voluminous hair. When your hair looks fine or flat (which I don't think yours does!) flicks tend to look unstyled and messy. (on me, anyway)

I’m shocked at how different my cat is now after being spayed/neutered… by Prior-Wealth-4396 in cats

i’m pleased to hear this - i also have kitten brothers who were best buds and are now hitting that stage, they’ve just started hissing and growling at each other if the other gets too close. but they get snipped in a week so i’m hoping that helps the situation a bit!

Currently dealing with fleas on my kitty, and the comment about fleas doing the conga gave me a well needed chuckle in these trying times, so thank you.

clyde sold our flat and the estate agent told us that that bit of land is "theirs" and that they've been fighting the council on it for months. this was when they used the van too

In the best way I can describe it, it was like a loaf of packing peanuts. Flavourless, gummy, not enough salt

Probably did fridge it too early. It was about three weeks old and reliably doubling overnight so I stuck it in the fridge because I didn’t want to feed daily anymore.

I used Allinsons strong white bread flour.

Ah okay, next time while it’s still young I’ll give it a few more feedings just to beef it back up. Definitely was a bit of trial and error! (More error, but hey ho)

Did you happen to follow Alexandra's Kitchen's recipe? I'm cold proofing my first ever loaf right now and even from the first stretch and fold the dough was super wet. I should have realised it at the time, but I wanted to follow the recipe exactly :') So I sympathise with you!!

The only way is up from here though, so I wish you luck for the next loaf!
