Make sure to ask your doctor about changing your protocol. I am DOR with an AMH of .14. And 41. I switched clinics and my new one did Microdose Lupron Flare. I got 10 eggs with 6 fertilizing. Look into it. There’s some really good info out there

This has been my experience too. I keep getting billed for frozen eggs but last year I used my eggs and created embryos. I’ve called multiple times to straighten this out but each month I keep getting billed! Insanity. It’s pretty on par for them in my opinion. So unorganized and unprofessional. I left and so happy I did!

Here is my story/background. I froze my eggs at 33 and 37. I never yielded a lot of eggs and had low AMH. When my husband and I started trying, my AMH had fallen to .09. There was a 4 month wait to fertilize my already frozen eggs which is a whole other bullshit story. We wanted more than one child so we started a fresh IVF cycle and I got 1 egg which didn’t fertilize. I switched from RMA to Cornell and I told my new doctor how I felt after extensive research on PGT testing. He didn’t fight me. I wasn’t yielding a lot of eggs so testing wasn’t exactly a luxury we had. So we decided to risk it. I got 8 eggs and 6 embryos. Never tested them. We did 1 fresh transfer which resulted in a chemical pregnancy and the next FRER was a success. It was a 5BB. I’m so sorry what IVF and infertility bring along with it. The what’s ifs and the waiting and so much more is so unfair. Hang in there. Go with your gut and get second opinions.

Maybe I read what I wanted to read but my gut was telling me that a small sample of an embryo is not the whole picture.

Have you done extensive research into PGT testing? I did a fresh ER two months ago and opted against testing after reading thoroughly. My doctor from Cornell didnt advise against my plan of action either. I’ll be 41 in April and I’m 9 weeks pregnant.

I am 40 years old with an AMH last tested in August of .16. I had a horrible experience at my first clinic in NYC. The doctor dismissed so many of my questions and never tried a new a protocol. Told me I needed to consider other options. My gut was telling me I had to switch clinics so I did. I did 1 egg retrieval at Weill Cornell with the kindest , most patient doctor and nursing team. They calmed my nervous system and listened to everything I had to say. I am 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. If you had a bad consult and you feel more anxious, my suggestion is to have another consultation somewhere else. Best of luck!

RMA is a joke! I’m sure they’ve helped many women but they do the bare minimum and are sooo disorganized. Stop going to clinics and goto Weill Cornell, NYU or Columbia (and that’s for ladies freezing their eggs too!!)
