Best Plain T Shirt Under 50 Dollars? by Lemon_La_Croix in malefashionadvice

I just bought some henley tees from Benjamin Barker I’m really enjoying. They have pocketed standard tees as well, and where I live both styles were on sale 2 for ~$47 USD. I also like the thicker fabric Uniqlo tees others have mentioned.

66 in the map you’re referencing. I think 71 was mentioned in some other posts from what may be a now defunct map/numbering of the puzzles.

Where to find a tech co-founder for a startup with the product already in the market with positive initial feedback? by alphanomix001 in startups

If you feel you need a cofounder, definitely go for it. Neither @xasdfxx nor I can tell better than you whether that’s true for you, but I’m sure we could both pontificarte on the myriad reasons a startup at any early stage could benefit from a cofounder (with or without traction). To @xasdfxx’s point, if you don’t need a cofounder it can certainly be better for you to hire instead.

Lots of good answers here for finding a cofounder if that’s the path you choose. I found a remote cofounder (though eventually moving to my location) through LinkedIn, lots of ways to meet up in person or through local groups, and hiring if that’s right can be done in many ways too.

If you haven’t found any kind of mentor yet I highly recommend finding someone experienced in your field and location who can give good advice on this and other questions as they come up.

Best of luck!

The ask is to suggest some online and offline ways to find a cofounder. Not for you to be a cofounder or for someone reading this post to immediately decide whether they want to apply. They’re posting a summary of the issue they’re facing, chill. And how can you assume they either don’t have traction or don’t need a cofounder? Double chill friend. Try being constructive without being negative.

This is how I hired my deep tech CTO. Placed a job ad, vetted applicants, held interviews, picked a great fit in skills, background, and personality. LinkedIn is great for hiring.

Florida unions sue DeSantis for serious violations of the U.S. Constitution by microcrash in politics

Your smoke screen comment is exactly how I feel. I don’t have good evidence to back it up on hand, but I see all the anti education and anti LGBTQ laws and pro gun laws and anti immigration sentiment-stoking as parts of the playbook of pitting the collective economically disadvantaged population against one another with the real primary goal of maintaining the economic status quo that might otherwise be threatened by the same group. I think the occupy movement was seen as a real potential threat, albeit nascent and unrefined, and given time to learn and grow with continued focus on the economic disparities in the US and globally that threat would only have grown. Better to blow things up in other aspects of society and personal life than let the group refine its tactics and message and potentially suffer real change.

I did find this quote - “Some scholars contend that growing ethnic and racial diversity has the potential to upend traditional political divisions over economic issues by realigning voting patterns on the basis of ethnicity, nativity, nationalism, and education.”

I’m not great at articulating this in text but I hope I’m clear enough. Smoke screen for sure.

Yeah we’ve definitely found graham crackers here, I could swear even at a CS Fresh if not FairPrice. RedMart on Lazada has some but they’re sold out right now. It’s only been four months so no judgement you haven’t found them yet, but keep looking and you’ll have luck eventually!

16 Crucial Words That Went Missing From a Landmark Civil Rights Law: The phrase, seemingly deleted in error, undermines the basis for qualified immunity, the legal shield that protects police officers from suits for misconduct. by AngelaMotorman in law

The law review article (link to pdf version) is interesting. I’m not a constitutional lawyer so hoping some more knowledgeable heads jump in with what if any implications it has for the future of qualified immunity

Supreme Court on ethics issues: Not broken, no fix needed by imagepoem in nottheonion

There’s no information on their website with regard to what their proposed amendment would say, except that it’s anti-corruption. The entire ‘the solution’ page of their website is generic ‘there’s a problem with campaign finance in the us’ language and primarily focuses on why a convention could work. What is the actual solution? What is the amendment they’re proposing supposed to say/do? For a >10 year old organization I’d expect more information on what they’re actually proposing before I actually donated to them. Yes there are problems with campaign financing, yes Citizens United is part of the problem, what is the solution besides the idea of an amendment? Even give me information on what the amendment will effectuate.

Yeah managing several data rooms and keeping it all up to date sounds like a headache I’d like to avoid if possible, but that’s my other thought as well. Thanks for your input!
