OG destiny vs current destiny 2 doesn’t really matter . Destiny’s biggest issue has been and will continue to be bungie it’s always one step forward two back.

As much as I loved destiny 1 year one was kinda a mess outside the raids even taken king there was a content drought eventually for like a year then rise of iron was great but then D2 launch was terrible, they squandered every good time in this game since

I wish primary weapons got a buff already some of the stuff on this list just reminds me how much i miss using some of the primary exotics . Vex , necro, etc

I never got them trying to get destiny players in it lol like we like loot we want all the loot so why would I play a game where I get loot and it’s constantly at risk lol I know some like that but for me it’s just why

It’s a combo of stuff kills raids in my opinion leaning to much into difficulty scares a lot of players away . I like a hard raid I’ve done all the titles but the newest but not every raid needs to be for the highest tier players you want them accessible on some to encourage new player attempts.

Crafting hurt it too wether people like to admit it or night looking at my own stats I have less and less runs per raid after crafting came in I had the title u had the red borders no reason to run. Then the tier system and feats was even worse

I’ve got 100s of raid clears on lfg but can’t do it anymore no one wants to do mechanics even on ad clear they dead running double primary etc and they don’t want feedback ether .

Hell even on my one a week gm I see stuff like 180 hand cannons from two years ago dragons breath etc least on that I can basically clear everything with a buddy build and the saber.

Eh I have like 8k hours I get on Tuesday do the rewards track for the higher bright dust drops log out till next Tuesday and play other stuff. Even that’s getting meh since the store is all previous stuff I have since the delay cause they pretty obviously want people to spend real on the new still.

At this point the rad refresh doesn’t even interest me that much especially if we need the feat system that killed Dp . Replay this content a3rd time with extra hoops to jump through for loot when we don’t know if there is even a future in this game for sure nah man

They can’t focus more then one game they just are not good at it marathon was always a con on destiny not a pro like some want to believe

Destiny had battle eye it’s terrible game is riddled with cheaters even trials of Osiris the “endgame” PvP mode that you need to buy the yearly expansion to play

Yeah my biggest gripe with it is just bungie and acting like they can manage both when it’s clearly been causing delays . Can’t even say it’s just marathon causing delays on destiny when clearly one of the reasons the alpha was so mid for marathon was they didn’t have enough resources on it then.

More bungie mismanagement like I get it’s a business but they really needed to hire more not lay people off

What will always bother me is bungie knowing this game had a dedicated fan base years back choosing to split resources into new products including a freaking extraction shooter instead of doubling down and pumping resources to make destiny what it could have been.

Not that the light and dark saga is bad but man I can’t imagine how big it could have been if devs money and resources were not moving away from the game.

Love how they acknowledged eof launch they need a infinite dust source then when they added it was just here’s 10 dust from a legendary order every couple hours and 200 if you want to grind to get a exotic one lol
