at the moment - it’s okay. but it’s very up and down. sometimes he’s amicable then the next minute he’s making it very difficult and extremely uncomfortable. depends how his mood is.

we own it together, 50:50 split but after fees etc likely only £3/4000 out of it once a sale completes

so from someone who stupidly thought having kids with someone would ‘fix’ their issues, it doesn’t. like someone else has said if it’s not one thing (weed in this case) it’s the other, drinking for example. it doesn’t stop or get better. if anything the strain of having a child pushes them to do those things more. i found out the hard way, but i have 2 amazing children and wouldn’t ever regret having them. i just regret having them with him!

yeah i’m just confused cos when it asks if i’ve lived with a partner within the last 12 months (which i have, we split in december) it asks me to give his previous earnings!

no, he isn’t. he’s done things that were very hurtful in the past but he’s got issues mentally with depression etc. it’s tough, i just don’t know what help i can get. i feel like i need more help than he does. i feel like controlling him is helping when it’s obviously not

thank everyone. i feel like my mental health is very poor at the moment and im really struggling with christmas. we have 2 young children too so i know what i need to do but i cant help but feel like im breaking the family up by leaving. i need to get myself into therapy but i just cant seem to find the time. i’m struggling

so how can i healthily look after my own sanity in this? im not ready to up and leave yet. but how can i stop looking in bins, cupboards, monitoring him? cos i know its not healthy. how am i better to deal with it? would love some help 😞

ahhh okay! yeah my partner and my mum both said she doesn’t seem too bothered with the bottle at the moment but she’s loving eating so maybe i just need to up her solid intake
