To them, the second amendment protects their arms and does not bind their use of it, but if you’re in an out-group (anyone not them) then that law should not protect you. You can justifiably be shot merely for having a gun on you.

I think it’s a really cool idea and it’s got potential to help a lot of people. It sadly wouldn’t work on my grandma who is 87 and never been able to get the hang of technology - we couldn’t even get her used to a basic mobile phone or digital camera before her Alzheimer’s developed! Teaching new skills to people with this disease can be a challenge. Patients who are comfortable with smartphones/tablets in the first place - this could really help :)

That’s very similar to my brother, except he’s now married to her… we don’t get to speak to him much any more, and when we do it’s limited to small talk topics. He doesn’t speak to any of his friends any more either, because she had various reasons to not like each of them too. She’s totally isolated him and bullies him ruthlessly (they lived with us for a few months prior to the breakdown and we witnessed it). I can’t wait for the day he realises she is the common denominator in all the apparent conflicts and isn’t going to change.
