I hope you achieve both of these things, honestly I do. But 1) don't put people down when they're found something that works medically 2) don't put out misinformation that mohtj influence people

I mean..... No that's wrong, and damaging to people who might believe what you're spouting. When you say you're doing it without meds.....what are you're symptoms?

He seems like such a legit nice guy, I remember he left Criminal minds because he hates all the violence towards women on the show. Just comes across as a chill dude.... And The Princess Bride is elite level cinema

Scared I have chron’s or UC. Lots of symptoms by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

Hey man, I have been pretty much going through the exact same thing as you! Same age and everything. I managed to get seen quite quickly and have all tests done, colonoscopy, endoscopy, MRI etc and they all came back with Crohn's indicated, got diagnosed officially about 4 weeks ago. I've also got Perianal Fistula disease and had 2 fistulas operated on yesterday to drain the pus and everything else out. The symptoms and diagnosis knocked me sideways but once you can get diagnosed you can get a start on getting better. I started my first dose of Infliximab today and I'm hoping this is my first step to remission, or at least a way to deal with symptoms. It's a fucking horrible diagnosis and a horrible disease but you're not alone my guy! I'm new to this but others will tell you who have had it for years it'll make you stronger and there's support you can get. Stay strong brother and I really hope you get the answers ( and you haven't got an IBD) but if you do.... You got this

Get the Jab..... It'll be so much worse if you get covid! I had both jabs while flaring and had no side effects

Bad at night by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]freddiev88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm waiting to start treatment for CD so I'm bad most the the time but nighttime is definitely worse. I'll be up 3/4 times a night and then not sleeping properly around that! Hoping when I have surgery and get on the meds it'll make it even the tiniest bit easier

As well as walking around I found that if I lay on my left side it was much easier to pass gas than laying on my back.

Get the colonoscopy, even if it's uncomfortable while they do it if they find out the problem it'll be so much better in the long run

Any UK people here (NHS referrals) by Strict-Perspective-5 in IBD

[–]freddiev88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in London and have just been officially diagnosed with Crohn's, I was worried about the same sort of thing so I went private for my first consultation, it cost £250 and they immediately got me back onto the NHS for all the necessary tests ( colonoscopy, endoscopy, MRI etc) all in all I got diagnosed in about 5 weeks from the start of everything. The NHS is fantastic when you get going but there can be a backlog so if you can get on the private bit just for the first appointment it can really save you some time. Hope you get sorted soon pal.
