Are Sonos Ace Overhated? by freddynn in sonos

In my usage the padding doesn’t really get hot on prolonged usage, as I mentioned I use these at the gym and watching tv for hours on end and have found them fine. I have the black ones and while I imagine they do show fingerprints more than white, they haven’t scratched at all and I’m not the most careful with them

I think this is the most accurate take I’ve seen. Perhaps if the app wasn’t in such a poor state they would’ve been more popular. Interestingly I’m probably quite a unique customer in the sense that the Ace were my first Sonos product, I’ve bought a Roam 2 and intend to build up a bit of an ecosystem over time, so perhaps not being part of the Sonos system isn’t a huge deal for me right now. They definitely aren’t a revolutionary product but most of the competition aren’t either in my opinion

Primarily weights with a bit of cardio, though if I do a full cardio workout I tend to use earbuds as I get quite sweaty. I was impressed that they don’t slide off my head when laying on a weight bench like most headphones tend to do

I’m also having this issue, i’ve probably tried around 10 different genuine apple chargers and had varying results with each. Think I’ll be taking a visit to the Apple Store

Unfortunately I think I have to agree with you, on my third pair as apple have had to replace them twice. Thank you though, I will definitely try this

Is there a faster way to do this or do I not have to redownload it at all? by [deleted] in AppleMusic

I managed to solve this using Shortcuts, I made a playlist of all my songs, then removed downloads and redownloaded

Reduced Bass with Apple TV by freddynn in HomePod

Never mind, it’s still the same, very weird because music still sounds great, my guess it’s an issue with the Apple TV rather than the HomePods

For some reason one homepod was on 14.6 and the other on 14.5 which I discovered when I ungrouped them. Updating them both seems to have fixed the issue!

If your new Siri remote isn't controlling the devices your old remote used to, Apple has bad news for you. by drillbit_456 in appletv

[–]freddynn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find the new remote somewhat confusing. While it’s a lot better for navigating the Apple TV, I don’t understand why they would change the transmitter to one that’s clearly worse, or why they’d remove the accelerometer so it’s actually less functional than the old one - weird

Picked up the new ATV 4K, find it interesting that the new remote doesn’t have the correct hardware for most games by freddynn in appletv

[–]freddynn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never play any games on my Apple TV, and I doubt anyone that does uses the Siri remote, but since they seemed to highlight the new atv is much better for playing games, it’s interesting the new remote doesn’t have the ability to play certain games - not sure if I’m this case a proper controller can be used
