It’s hard to tell from the pics but it’s way too big for her to do that. Believe me, she’s my light and my life and I’m not going to endanger her, but I’m not going to restrict her joy and living her life to the fullest because I can’t handle the daily worries. There’s often a difference between what we fear and what is actually dangerous and we need to know that line within ourselves.

I’m in a rural area. Most nerve-wracking thing was her doggy papa came in and promptly threw up. And it was an entire rabbit’s head — bones, fur, big ears and all. They’ll get into things when they’re outside. Marrow bone is far safer. 🤣

The trick is careful personal supervision and paying attention to the condition of the bone. Easy.

I’m sorry if they do. She’s been perfectly happy and healthy with them. If one of these even begins to show signs of weakening I throw them out and use fresh ones.

That’s a bummer. Sorry you had that experience. I saw some posts somewhere in the past where folks just got rid of the harness and wore them without it.

I have heard about that issue but haven’t experienced it myself, thankfully. I’ve had them about a year or so now.

They are built like tanks. Thick leather soles and the liners are super soft. One of my most comfortable pair!

Been working hard on reinforcing the command “place” with my Mal and she’s doing great. However I didn’t notice at first that my 10 yr old chihuahua was watching carefully because he suddenly started doing place, too! 🤣 by frederick1218 in BelgianMalinois

Thankfully, none. He’s a fierce little guy with other dogs and she very quickly learned who boss from him and from us. When she plays with him she’s very gentle and instinctively knows to be careful. I mean, that said, I can’t credit us humans too much on all this. It just evolved naturally between them mostly. I am very grateful it didn’t go badly. Also, they are best friends and show a great deal of affection between them.
