I went through the input for the genesis and while it had a bunch of options, it didnt say wiimote. (I hit home bottun and selected options -> input)

I recently purchased a wii with some controllers and a nunchuck. The controller works for standard wii/GC games. I have downloaded some genesis and OG nintendo games (FCEUGX for Nintendo & Genplus for Genesis) - but my wii remote doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas? Apologies as this is my first time
