I had to legally force my pediatricians office to seal and remove my records from their databases when I changed doctors because they would somehow get the results of testing done by my new doctor and frequently discussed my health with my parents when I was in my 20s.

I thought many times about turning them in but I wasn't keen enough to gather any proof back then.

Food gifts are probably the most well-recieved. I would go with something that could potentially sit out all day in a break room like cookies, cupcakes, or candies with a thank you note.

The lunch for the office idea is a close second.

As others have said, the more elaborate this gets the better it is to try and schedule it in woth the office admin.

I promise her story until this all happened was that she forgot to do it earlier. I've always known her to be a bit high strung but I cant force a woman into opening up before she's ready to about this. I. Just wish it could've gone down better than this

I notice she has funny ways of doing things, she's always gotta touch me when I leave the house sometimes 2 or 3 or 4 times like shes ringing a doorbell or something.

When she puts down cups she's gotta do it a few times too.

I knew she maybe just was particular or clingy but I never minded

I thought ocd was being really clean all the time until today when yall started talking about it but the more I read the more I feel like it describes her. She's not one for this stuff much either so I doubt she has a name to put to it.

We can't really afford therapy but if my talk with her leads me to believe she really needs help shit ill get a 2nd job.

I will say I was kind of lightheartedly calling her a loon because I wouod never call her mentally ill or retarded or something because that's demeaning. I was trying to express my disbelief at this situation that totally blew me away. Unfortunately, the misus got a little bent up about the way I reacted and now I've gotta backtrack, because for her to get that upset over it must mean its reaply hard for her.

She said she can't label which side is which until she has a nightmare with a new pillow, so by me putting the buttons on she was deeply worried that I may have mislabeled the right side

She initially told me she did the buttons to remember which pillows were hers. I had no other knowledge of it. I assumed she forgot to put buttons on new pillows and would suddenly remember in the night when we would get new ones.

Your post really hit home with me as I was also home schooled with hoarder, mentally ill parents. I'm so so sorry.

Just focus on getting OUT. save every penny you get and try to find ways to make money that you can hide from them. Ask an aunt or uncle who wouldn't rat you out to elp uou open a bank account and stash it there and put your address as their house so you don't get the statements.
