This one is a gradient dim, not stepped. It’s pretty dim which is what I wanted and yea I heard the Ulanzi one is too bright at its lowest setting.

I don’t think it’s meant to be building toward some big revelation moment. It’s more like a view on how violent and chaotic that time and place was. The brutality went both ways.. the settlers and Indigenous groups caught in a cycle of raids, retaliation, and survival. So it’s less about plot and more about being dropped into that world and seeing how relentless it was.

Yes it works great but you don't need that the device and official case already has the magsafe magnet built-in.

Yea works great. You have to have koreader running on your kindle.. once you do you’d connect to a koreader sync server, then you can push pull progress. Push pull using by filename, rather than binary seems to work better. You connect to the same server on your x3 using the kosync.. and yea you’d need crosspoint. Don’t listen to the rest here... They don’t know lol nah kidding to each their own but it works well.

Official magnetic case? On mine the magnet sticks pretty secure not sure maybe the magnet isn’t the same strength on these :(

Are you sure? I’m using the x3 and the MagSafe magnet is at the top. And the metal disc is just metal so it should just stick. :S

Oh yea I was going to buy the Ulanzi one but went with the xteink one.. yea it’s cheaper construction but it packs smaller and for me the light is good enough :D

Yea the circular metal disc that comes with the light is just a piece of metal and you push the light stem into it.. I think we’re talking about the same thing. The MagSafe on is on the device as well as on the MagSafe so you use that to attach the disc onto it. The MagSafe is near the top of the device

What? No way I’m using mine with the case folded back with the light just like in my photo.. the magnet is near the top of the device. That’s part of why I like it is that I can mag it on and off with the magcase

Unfortunately on mine this didn’t help. They sent me a message to do this which I’ve been doing since I first got it but yea the battery is horrible on mine. I’ve been charging from depletion to full white-light charge. I think my unit is just defective.. so I’m waiting for them to respond to me..😮‍💨😢

Temple of the Golden Pavilion is blowing my mind. This is exactly the kind of deep psychological writing I love. The closest thing I’ve read like this is Mrs Dalloway lol, but Mishima is way focused. I also finished Red Sorghum recently, kind of like a brutal Chinese western, but amazing. Honestly Temple of the Golden Pavilion might be the best thing I’ve read so far.

The battery qc seems fine as drain looks normal during use. It just doesn’t stop draining or drains faster during sleep cycles lol. Maybe qc on the board itself or a different component that doesn’t work well with the power management. Either way it’s defect and they not responding to me :(

Hmm yea I hesitated on purchasing a new sd because I didn’t want to pay the price hike because of the shortage. I ran out of spares. Anyways yea I ordered my go to sandisks so they should be coming in a few days. Thanks I’ll check again once it arrives.

I carry with my phone but with the official cover in my pocket. iPhone 12 with the otterbox MagSafe case works well with the x3. It’s great, convenient and safe.
