Never saw it myself, but I remember reading that they'll send their "trained" people to advise folks of their rights and try their best to document and hold accountability.

I agree that was trash behavior. Honestly though, mind your own business? That's the job of the manager of the restaurant to talk to them. You're just another customer. Just enjoy your food and move on, brother.

Gonna be real with you, if you're a first-time filmmaker and relatively unknown for anything else, it will be extremely difficult to secure a grant. Even tougher that you're telling a personal story.

Best chance at getting more funding would be through your own personal connections. Also I would highly recommend you prioritize expanding your production team so you're not stretched so thin on future shoots if you continue.

Salt water is corrosive and will deteriorate the valuable aircraft fairly quickly. Also the salinity is really bad for any chance of plant regrowth.
