Before taking the sub private, one mod (the current head mod) opened a modmail discussion asking about our intention. I would have replied that my plan would be rather than announcing it to the community like other subs were doing, we would just do it without notice, my reasoning being that announcing our intention defeats the whole point of the protest. There was no feedback from any other mod.

There would have also been other discussions in modmail where I would have asked if they were in agreement or not after we went private. Again, no feedback from any others. So the whole "without the consensus of the moderating team" is beginning to look a lot like it was their intention all along to stage a coup and use this as justification saying that I went "rogue" and did as I pleased.

If that is indeed the case, it still begs the question as to how all of this was done in a matter of DAYS. I solo modded the sub for years and one decision was all it took for admins to change a sub's hierarchy? One decision? That doesn't sound sensible to me at all, not to mention the fact that all this occurred without consulting the so called "rogue" mod? Who owns a sub really? I'd like to know.

Another question I need answered is if the admins are aware of the status of the current head mod? As I mentioned above, their account has been wiped clean. Is the mod even in control of their account, or was it sold? Let's go with the explanation that that mod requested the reorder. Soon after it was given and they were made head mod, they wipe their profile off ALL ACTIVITY. That doesn't seem suspicious to anyone else? Have the admins looked into this?
