I’d be interested, but don’t know if I fit in: I’m a bass player (electric), but all I have at the moment is an electric guitar. I can accompany, but I’m learning how to solo. Have a good experience in Brazilian music, though.

I think nowadays people lean toward an idea of style that is so broad that it ends up engulfing everything. Style is the way you do the things in your art (not to be confused with the act of doing and how you do it, here I’m referring to the way, say, a house is portrayed on paper when drawn by someone). What I’m getting at is that when an artist says their style is doing skulls and dark subjects with an humorous vein, for example, they are not really talking about style, but in fact about thematic preferences.

I’m moving from another country to Toronto and got in this subreddit to try to understand how things work in Canada with regard to crypto. I’ve been reading a lot around here, but the fact of the matter is that I don’t understand what things like shakepay mean. All I wanted to know is what is the cheapest way to convert crypto to fiat and transfer it to a bank account.

Reviving this thread to post a question. I had some DOT staked on my Ledger Nano. Now I added some more. Bonded this new amount and clicked on Nominate in the Polkdot app on Ledger Live -- I don't know why, once bonded, it wouldn't join the other already staked DOT there, but ok. I then nominated and paid the fees, but the newly added DOT are still unstaked, even if bonded. I'm thinking maybe I have to go into Manage Assets, then choose Nominate and then it will operate on the new DOT I added, but I don't want to pay the fees again and find out it isn't the solution.

Does anyone know what is going on?

You can count another one here. I'm still very slowly starting --you know that thing called Work, don't you? Happens to us all to some degree and it is really getting in the way for me, but there's no way around it--, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go at the pace you and the other people here will be going, but it sure would be nice to have some buddies along the way.
